No I have not tried ruffles with ridges and chocolate cake, but I will think about that one. The fries I have not dipped into my shake but it seems to be pretty popualr here. And vanilla ice cream with peanuts and chocolate syrup I have had and it is good.

As far as a salty/sweet thing for me I like that Nature Valley Sweet & Salty Nut bar (peanut). They are really good when I want something of both together.

thank you for asking hope others will answer too. I am finding this to be rather interesting.

hugs.

Thank you for answering my question. I think I would pass on shoe polish so if I added a whole bottle of honey would it make it okay.

Peanut butter and banana sandwhiches are popular but I have not tried them. But i have put peanut butter on bananas before and that is good. Quick source of energy to work out on.

Never heard of peanut butter and grated carrots. Not sure I could do that one either, but then you never know.

Thank you for answering back. Hugs.

DPS: My sandwich was yummy, even though it was on potato bread. I went and bought 100% natural whole grain whole wheat bread tonight. Much healthier.

Thank you for starting this thread, I'm finding it interesting also,PB and carrots? Something I had never thought to try but will before the day is out- lol -PB and Banana I've had lots and I do like them. I am in the South and you can even find that at local restaurants. lol .Speaking of rest. the fried pickle is really making itself known. I've even seen it on the FoodNetWork channel...just havent had the courage to try it yet-lol- I've always went for the sweet rather than sour line of foodstuffs...

I made a PB&J cake a couple of weeks ago and it was REALLY good,Hubby took some to the plant for the guys, and it went over well there too.
Anybody have some more PB concoctions? I just love PB -I am also a JIF fan(choosy mothers choose JIF-lol) and I prefer smooth but sometimes just gotta have the extra crunchy...

Grape jelly and ketchup on the little weiners simply rocks!

Ok here is the one that will take the cake..... drumroll......

Black eyed peas mixed with mayonnaise. Just enough to lightly coat them. So good. Been made fun of my whole life for that.

A few other weird things I eat are:
Banana and PB sandwich
Bananas and PB alone
PB on celery

My husband puts ketchup on scrambled eggs. I know lots of people that do that.

I had a bloody mary with Guiness beer in it. It was pretty tasty.

Weird is in the eye of the taster!

You are welcome and I really thought people would think I had done lost it. lol

I'll let you try the peanit butter and carrots and let me know what you think.

A peanut butter and jelly cake? Kool. That sounds neat.

Thank you for responding. I just had the little weiners with the jelly and ketchup for dinner the other night and it was awsome. They were really good.

WHAT????? Bkackeyed peas with mayonnaize???? I have got to say that takes the cake and the ice cream too. Have never heard of that.

Ketchup on scrambled eggs is not what I like to see in the morning. YUCK!!
Never had a bloody mary with anything.

I wanted to say that I like peanut butter on BLT sandwiches. If you put peanut butter on the bread on the side of the bacon and put the mayonnaize on the side of the bread with tomotoe and lettuse, the bacon melts the peanut butter within the sandwich. To die for.(I think)

Thank you all for answering this thread. I was afraid everyone would think I done went off my rocker but was interested to see if anyone had tried any of the things I had asked. My friend and I were talking about it. I think she is rather shocked that anyone would like peanut butter in thier soups and chilli. I tried to tell her.

Hugs and loving thoughts to all. Always.

Honest to Kami, they all sound horrible to me. Heh.

I don't think I'm all that adventurous. My dad's into banana sandwiches and the idea sickens me, same with a chip sandwich, which really makes me feel sick, even as I type this. I'm clearly a boring eater.

DPS: tomorrow, i will have a PB&bologna sandwich XD i feel i need to put that on my list of things to do before i die [haha, along with listening to 'Im on a Boat' while on a boat o.e epicness!]

oh and you're welcome for me posting; honestly, i feel i should be thanking YOU for coming up with such a brilliant thread this has been fun coming on here, talking about the most random food combinations

by the way, me and a friend from school were talking today and we've come up with a theory.. and that is: Peanut butter tastes good with anything to anyone; peanut butter is just that* epic XD

Babysteps: oh gosh, orange juice and cornflakes? -i'd rather go without any drinks for my cereal than adding O.J. [maybe this is cause i dont like orange juice anyways?]- but i guess to find a genius food combo, we must go through trial-and-error to get the best XD
Thanks for this!

.

1.) Peanut Butter and Crackers in soups and chilli

2.) Grape Jelly and Ketchup for dipping Kielbasa

The peanut butter and crackers in soups in chili sounds good. I actually have a recipe for grape jelly, apple jelly, and mustard for cooking cocktail sausage in, so the number 2 is okay.

Thank you for answering and I don't think you are a boring eater. It is okay to not eat different foods. I do agree with you about chips on sandwiches, as my sisters and my children both used to eat that on their sandwiches.

Good for you. I look forward to hearing what you think of the bologna and peanut butter. I think I am beginning to see that peanut butter is a universal food for everyone.
