Today, I'm thankful that I was up too late - which is early or normal waking hours for most - and got a chance to meet my new neighbor's three beautiful dogs. That was the first black and white great dane that I've ever met. He has a big bark.

I am thankful that I was able to pay my mortgage and HOA. I am especially thankful for the love and joy I experienced with my son this evening. It feels so good to be loved.

Thankful for centers like the one I walked for this morning even though I wish we didn't need them..

Thankful for the beautiful sunrise this morning

Thankful for the hashbrowns from McDonalds I got to enjoy after my walk.

I'm thankful for:
Everybody here and finding this site when I needed it!
Visiting my friends (I'm visiting them now - my visit ends tomorrow) and being treated well by them
Knitting (very therapeutic)
My husband (even though we often don't get along)
My pets (1 cat, 1 dog)
hiking (love it)
Surviving cancer (in remission since 2002)
my car that takes me places
my hobbies in general - they keep me sane sometimes I think
my one good friend (whom I'm visiting at present - till tomorrow)
a roof over my head, food to eat and a place to live (still)
computers that connect us all (most of the time)
music
the mountains/nature
a few good penpals I have
beauty
a cool breeze on my skin, sun warm on my face, fresh air
God (not trying to get religious but I am grateful for my spirituality)

Today I'm thankful that I can log on and read this thread again.
I'm, also, thankful for the nice lady who replied to my simple email.

I am thankful to live somewhere with access to a lot of fresh, local produce. Went to a Farmer's Market on Saturday and will enjoy the delicious fruits and veggies from it all week. Carrots so sweet they taste like candy! Apples that SMELL like apples!! Brightly colored squash and on and on! Everything so full of flavor.

I have a new one - what am I thankful for? I am thankful for friends - two very good friends in particular who believe in me and hope that I'll start believing in me.

I am also thankful I have a place to stay seperate from my husband temporarily so I don't have to put up with his drama and abuse.
I am thankful I have a counseling session with my husband tomorrow and hope somehow it will help my situation.
I am thankful for my counselor/therapist - I don't always do great with him, but he has helped.
I am thankful I really am a strong person.

Greetings,

Instead of listing things when they pop into my head, let's just say I am a truly grateful person, period.

Have a good one.

What a good idea for a thread, I like this. Apparently the more you are thankful for, the more things you attract that makes you thankful.
Today I'm thankful that my dad's heart op has gone well :-)
