I have a question for you wonderful people here at PC. A friend and I were talking and there are some things that we eat that we were wondering what others would think. There are three choices that we cam up with and was wondering which of the three you would rather try or have tried and know how they taste.

1.) Peanut Butter and Crackers in soups and chilli

2.) Grape Jelly and Ketchup for dipping Kielbasa

3.) Peanut Butter and Bologna Sandwhiches

Just wondering if anyone cares to take a pick or maybe you know of some other weird things you or others have tried.

Thank you.

n.

I'll go with this one dps. I've tried peanut butter on a hotdog and it was actually pretty good. Only once though.

Oh , and I have eaten frozen fries , bet nobody has ever done that. lol

They all sound yucky so I can't pick, but if I was starving I guess I would pick the grape jelly and ketchup sauce for the Keilbasa. My mom used to eat pickle sandwiches and I've had them.

I would like to pick option 4....None of the above!!

But since you would like me to choose...I'd have to say the peanut butter and crackers in the soup and chile.

I have this weird thing about food. I'm quite picky, and I can't eat hot dogs or sausages because they make me....hurl. Unfortunately, it's kind of a psychological thing. (Sorry for the TMI)

Definitely peanut butter and crackers in chili. Nothing goes better with chili than a peanut better and honey sandwich!!!

Actually I HAVE eaten frozen fries myself! Whenever I cook them I always scab one or 2 frozen ones to eat while I'm waiting. I also used to eat frozen peas as a kid, and have peanut butter and vegemite on toast. My grandfather likes to eat fritz and jam sandwiches. And you should try vanilla icecream with milk poured on it.

As for the question, I think I'd have to go with 3., it does sound like it's got some potential.

((((Evening))))

I have also taken frozen fries on occasion as I get them ready to cook. Love milk over ice cream whether vanilla or whatever. If you stir it it is like a shake. Good answer. thank you.

uhh, one of the weirdest things ive eaten is chocolate eclair ice cream bar with doritos xD it was just for fun at lunch once, but i thought they were good together

I think so far you have won the prize. I have never heard of a chocolate eclair with doritos. Did you actually eat those together? Maybe that is what would stop the cold rush to someones head when eating something cold. Thank you for answering. I not sure I can try that one though.

haha, thanks i actually did try it! me and my friends sprinkled the crushed up pieces of doritos on the chocolate eclair ice cream bar and ate it.. it was random taste, but it wasnt actually bad at all.. i was surprised at the delicousness of it

there's also the other weird food experiments: ketchup& grilled cheese, peanut butter and waffles plus maple syrup, pizza rolls dipped in chocolate syrup, chunky peanut butter on crackers, etc.
Thanks for this!

If I had to pick one it would be number 1.

bluegirl: I LOVE peanut butter on waffles or pancakes and syrup. I also will mix them and dip apples in it. Another one I like is french fries in a chocolate shake/malt.

hmm I'm anemic so I have to try and stay away from peanuts...

but what I enjoyed was vanilla ice cream eaten by hand on saltines! I think it reminds me of home made ice cream when the rock salt fell into the mix

I have NOT eaten bologna since I moved out of my parents house and never will. It was a staple and I'm still over it.

Peanut Butter and Crackers in soups and chilli (haven't tried, but will)

Grape Jelly and Ketchup for dipping Kielbasa. I substitute Heinz chili sauce for ketchup for a little zing. Also use this with chicken fingers.

Personally, I like the whole salt and sweet, cold, hot thing...

hot french fries and ice cream together
Hershey kisses and popcorn together
Fritoes and Slim Jims together

I adore peanut butter! I'll spread it on anything and just might like it too! Once, my niece and I made peanut butter and Fruit Loops sandwiches and they were really good! We still do that occasionally...fun times, good laughs.

Thanks DPS!

I love peanut butter with syrup and waffles that is great. And just peanut butter and syrup sandwiches (if you freeze the peanut butter and syrup it is almost like some kind of peanut butter brownie----it is good.)

chunky peanut butter on crackers is good too.

Thank you for your input. It is greatly appreciated.
