I hope that next year I can do the holidays different. Of course it seems like I say that every year and every year its stress! My first husband was in ICU in December and died in February and every year I have nitemares about it in December. It makes for a horrible scary stressful Christmas.
I want Christmas to be like when I was a kid. When I looked for Santa and actually thought I saw him. I want the magic not the nitemares.

Maybe next year....................

I'm sorry, Missbelle. I shouldn't have started this thread.

IceCreamKid I am glad you started it. When I saw it I thought WOW I did too! Seems like I kind of just went though the motions, but at least I did it. Even sent out cards,LATE oh well! When someone posted the winter solstice was over I immediately felt better. days getting longer really helps me. I am sorry missbelle you have to have bad memories come up in Dec. that would make it hard.

we can always hope the next year will be better but we do not know what it may hold for us (I say that too that next year I will try better to be honest, i think it will take many years to come if not my entire life before or if a true stress free holiday season or non-depressed or ups/downs rapidly with it all and to be honest- I have no clue what holds in store for me for the future- I just hope I learn as time goes on).

I survived another holiday season-- I feel Relief with it all being done as well which is oddly relaxing now All i have to worry about is moving in Feb-- Now I wish i did not fret over such things these past three to four months... geez

Be well all and may the future hold brighter days
