Oh, and I only gained one pound of water weight, despite all the pepperoni I ate yesterday. I expected it to be worse.

I did not sleep the entire day away (after a thoroughly sleepless night).
Perhaps I can get to bed at a decent hour tonight, and get something "like" a restful 7-8 hours. Ever hopeful. |

Broke my coffee carafe this morning washing it in the sink. Is good...I was planning to cold turkey the stuff AND I had just used up the last of my coffee. No carafe? Is ok...no coffee either.

I bought 3 self-help books today! Hopefully, I will read them . . . with the new eyeglasses I also purchased. (They won't be ready until Wednesday at the earliest.)

I talked to my best friend of 10 years for the first time in several weeks. She has been trying to contact me but I (for some reason, I don't know why) haven't been able to bring myself to talk to her. I poured out a lot that I have been holding in and she wasn't at all upset with me for screening her calls. She just jumped right in and kept on being her amazing self.
I am so thankful that she is a part of my life. |
