I made a decent supper for myself, and I escaped a bad case of the blues.

My Doc sent me to emerg. From that I came away with a referral back to my original counsellor, a referral to a psych doc, and a prescription for Ativan for the week to help me through the work anxiety. The wait time was long but the time to see the PDoc will only be a week. So that is very positive.

This is one of the best exercises out there, when you feel a bit down reminding yourself of the good things in life can put things back into perspective.

Personally, I found out my favourite artist is presenting a new radio show on Kerrang! this evening, definitely something to keep me going!

Good news everybody!! My coworker, who was not talking to me, sat down with me and we had a long talk. We discovered that it was all instigated by another coworker telling lies to enjoy watching the conflict. As we talked, we found out a lot and we are happy coworkers again, and wiser too. It all ended with a hug.

((That is wonderful Nick!!!))

A good thing for me today is that I helped out guests that were actually at work when I got in, helped them out a lot on my shift today, and before the departed for their day their Lead with their group gave me many thanks and others were thanking me......
This is the best part of what I like to do to just help out, i get into the flow of things with just that then to get thanks from them is just the extra bonus...
I don't care if my supervisor hears about it, because no matter what she finds things to complain about-- this here just between a few people and me is good enough-

It is like a reminder of why I have stuck around.

This morning on the way home from the hosp there was a girl stranded on the side of the road, car stuck in the snow in a ditch on its side. I stopped to ask if she was ok and needed anything especially since the temps were 22 below, I was concerned; she was not hurt, but her cell phone had died, no one was answering their doors or were not home at the neighboring houses, and she had been out there for an hour. She warmed up in the car and used my cell to call her folks and a tow truck. I told her to tell them who I was and where I lived so they would hopefully not be as worried about this stranger helping. It was 2 hours later before the the tow truck came but fortunately and amazingly the tow company was able to get the car out and it RAN, straight and true!! She was fortunate and able to get to work. It is sad to me that she could not believe someone would actually stop to help but good to know that working together someone could be helped.
