yeah back then i made a lot of stupid decisions. i made a fool of myself at the grand canyon when my teacher yelled at me and everybody else looked at me. that a**hole. I am still angry with him to this day. speaking of which, his face is starting to pop up in my mind right now. if only i could grasp him would i be hurling my glue at him. Darn that monster! I hope you guys don't think i am being too offensive. i am just here to vent.
yeah i also deleted a bunch of my friends from a networking site and now i'm readding tehm i didn't trust them at first and felt like all the things, addictions, had to do with them. i thought for some reason that they might be dealing with the same things, but now i'm like nah, it can't be them. it's just all in my mind. my mind is playing tricks on me. |

You're not alone in having your mind playing tricks on you. Many of us wouldn't be here if our minds were working without sometimes doing that. So, did someone do something to you to make the teacher notice and get after you when you were at the Grand Canyon? I'm not sure exactly what happened to make you so mad at that guy.

I have made many stupid decisions in life. The most recent one was in 2007 when I decided to move to a certain city without properly considering the pros and cons first. I was impulsive and it cost me a beautiful home I already had paid for and I am now back to renting a dinky little apartment.
Don't be too hard on yourself. We often do things impulsively then regret later. ![]() ![]() |

when you're alone, you hope that the surge of panic does not lead you into situations that will make you uncomfortable, causing you to act on impulse instead of on logic.

I moved 2,600 miles from home away from two of my children. I felt I had to do it at the time but I regret it now.

My sons loved the city I impulsively moved to. It was a city that had lots of opportunity IF you were bilingual with your original language being French. If you were originally English and fluently bilingual with french but did not have a french last name....good luck getting the career jobs. I was mostly english with only a smattering of french so I wasn't even bilingual. I Should have known I wouldn't go far without the french but I went there anyway and blew whatever savings we had with little career prospects. My sons enjoyed Ottawa though.
We had to move back to this tiny little place with no career paths to financially start over. One son is now moving to Texas in April and the other is trying to figure out what he wants to do. Hopefully, it involves getting out of here. |

We have all made stupid moves. I finally learned that if a door closes, wait for the other to open, and to really learn when it closes. and wait,...

I am the "Queen" of stupid decisions!
![]() And I have been that, to my detriment. But now I've found a balance, and I focus my compassion on thngs that are worthy. Embrace yourself! and make the best of the experiences. Don't hold onto hurts or slights, insults. They only hurt you by the holding on! ![]() |
