Name one good thing about your day so far (#4)

It's almost time to go see my daughter.

i got lost with trying to do something here on PC that wasn't typing a novel of my problems

I don't have to go anywhere today and have all day to study.

I only have one commitment today and it's with a person who lives in my building. So I have the day to take it easy and rest up.

Putting my daughter to bed, laying down with her after she asks, saying prayers, getting hugs and kisses....its all one big good thing! And she is just the best kiddo...LOVE my baby girl!!

It's the last day; good or bad that the final is actually today, the end is finally here.

That I haven't killed anybody yet

I woke up feeling good about myself. The rain sounds so nice and peaceful outside. I love listening to it.

i opened up the package, it was a cup from a client.. It is awesome..

bugger all...

Finally figured out what the hell is wrong with me. What a relief. Hopefully the antibiotics will work.

I stuck to my schedule, and got to the doctor's offices in plenty of time to fill out massive paperwork, and turn it all back in.

Very big feeling of relief.

No matter how it came out, the main school program is at least done; 3 week break now.

Before reality attacked me this morning, I had a really great moment with my dog, Buster. He noticed I'd woken up and then decided to PLAY with me. When I asked him if he wanted to get up, he started bounding around with the brightest eyes and seemed just so happy to see me awake.

Buster's happy turned into my happy. I got up, brushed my hair and teeth, turned the coffee pot on and came here to check in.

Unfortunately, reality hit right about that time and now, I'm not so good.

I love, love, love the sound of falling rain. One of the things I miss the most about being hard of hearing is not being able to hear those kinds of sounds anymore.
I made amazing soup today that fed not only my body but my soul. I love cooking things at home, from scratch. It's such a different feeling than processed food or food from restaurants, though don't get me wrong, I eat plenty of those too.

One good thing about my day is that I have come to realize that the world does not revolve around me. Or am I just saying it so that people will accept me in the future? Sometimes I use words that sages in the past have used and it's not really true to myself, but anyway, at least it has a positive connotation. I have complained about my life and everything. I am finicky. when something goes all right, I am happy. When it doesn't I blame myself or others for the cause.

I did not wake up in a bad mood, meditated, and exercised. I avoided anger, but not a depressed period. I let some patience over rule frustration. Meditated even though I feared falling asleep. Struggled to focus on activity that grounds me so I come here and feel grateful. i can only control within my limits and I realize even that small box can be a handful.

Husband went and did his own thing without making me feel like I had to stick to a script.

Also, I needed sleep, and got it.

I don't consider myself inferior to anyone.

I did something nice for someone. She may not remember it tomorrow but anyway...

I did just about the rest of my laundry...only one more load to go.

I watched a movie. I've been super busy with kids and their activities and following sports and life in general. "The Last Station." Can't say I haven't seen any movies in the past couple of months, but they've all been kid-centric.

managed to go out to the local foodcourt and ate dinner it's called carrot cake and it's... not a dessert!
