well, a few things.....

It's odd and probably long if i explained it-- but today with reveiw of the past, it is ok to think on it- but realize the good things I have today-- And heck- I lived through it all and made it here.
I am not with an abusive s/o, he actually cares, and has tried to work with me on things- no he is not perfect but I do love him
I am not living in fear these days with "what if they find me" (at least not today, i do have some days i don't do well with this but it's progress).

Despite the statics with me "being the baby" I never went back to ask for anything when i was not sure what to do- some how I had that with in myself, some where that foundation was formed- I don't know how but it was; and I stood on my own two feet.
Course the dynamics of my family are not of the norm of what statistics talk about. (i am 9-10 years from the oldest, and then 5.5 from the one of the next youngest)...

Realizing these small, but yet not so small things- have made me feel good. Yes today I thought on my past, i got a little sad- but today I am not stuck- which is good. I have battled through a lot of my own things, and things around me.

It will be ok

In Art Class I drew a picture of the Flash and the teacher said she thought it was really good. This made me happy because I thought it was bad, but she knows better than I do.

trying to cope, but in a better place than recently, I think. Several things going on. Reminding myself that others must deal with life and themselves. Helping someone else usually beneficial for me, but sometimes I have to withdraw for a while. Close to that point now.

Having the day off with no appointments, no classes, and no studying to do; I am looking forward to getting some long overdue projects done.

It's overcast and breezy. I think it's raining. I have things to do almost the whole day long but I am looking forward to all of them.

It's a nice cool day, and its Friday. Looking forward to going home and relaxing and taking it easy. The best thing about today is that I got my butt up and left my house. I feel like I have purpose today.

I was able to watch hazel, my favorite show. I like shows that were filmed in the 50s and 60s. After that, the shows got pretty boring. I'm not really a big fan of modern television. I rather watch antenna television.
I also want to revert to the 70s and 80s. High school guys used to be preppy and girls colorful.

Had a nice time out with my oldest. He helped me pick out a toy for a girl in my youngest son's class, for her bday party. Said, "Mom, I know girls. They like horses!"

The School Beautification Trash Cleanup Scavenger Hunt was a success! The kids loved the challenge to find trash, and we were able to find and dump out unopened beer bottles stashed in the bushes.

Lesseee....two good things. Is that alright?

Made it to the lab and had a blood draw (finally!, and in spite of massive snafus all morning long!); and then also made it to the doctor's, and pleaded my case for prescription refills. Was successful all around.

I even found some amazing linens (one of my favourite things to collect) when I stopped at the Goodwill to do some celebratory junking. I suppose that makes it 3 good things!

I just found out I am graduating with honors. Considering I was told not to come back to my last school, that I would never make it in higher education, and that I should pursue other career options that did not include higher education. With the right meds and therapy, I have gotten into a good school, am graduating, and now with honors too? I was just praying for graduation; I am overwhelmed with joy.
