i like solitary trips. took a trip alone today.. and i guess i'm able to observe more about people. it all ended with a volunteer meeting, and i can say i am finally able to find meaning in what i'm doing

The air is really smoggy, because of the forest fires up north. It's slightly uncomfortable and smelly. My throat and nose are feeling it.

I feel so much better these days since I started going back to therapy. The delusional and paranoid thoughts have dissipated. I feel so much more liberated. Thank goodness

Omigosh, you will not believe what happened today at the library. These two guys and I were at the library doing our duties as volunteers and it just so happens that one of them was being very rude. First he asked me if I liked any girls, then he asked me what my beliefs were. I was like how are these questions relevant to work? And if I didn't answer them, he would call me gay and things like that.

I am pretty sure I want a mountain bike.

It doesn't have to be the coolest one in the shop, I just want something to bomb around on. In fact, the more basic it is, the better.

Yup. I definitely want a mountain bike. I need to get moving again.

Could not for the life of me get settled today. Both mind and body refused to stay still. Feel on edge.

I'm glad I'm not alone. It's too difficult to describe the feeling, I've had trouble explaining.

So thankful for this place, here, where my thoughts count and where we can give hugs to each other. Sometimes you just need a hug.

I can relate....soooo.....

I am just in a bad place...well not bad, just not good. There are many financial problems in my future and they are not going to end well for me.
I am going to end up in a room share situation or worse...i could end up living in my SUV for a while. I have a great job, make good money...pay my alimony and shild support, but barely have enough left over to make my own rent and bills.
I am not looking for pity...just stating my situation. It amazes me the desparity among people.

i absolutely hate my metabolism

At the risk of getting myself in trouble--- I don't believe half of the cockamamie theories regarding the proper way to be a human or raise little humans. I believe that there is a reason why society is going to hell and one (JUST ONE OF MANY) is disrespectful and self centered people (not all people of course but pretty damned near close). In times past, there were consequences that were enforced when one showed abhorrent behavior. Now, it's like, "oh, you can't do that you'll scar the kid for life" or "Don't do that you'll hurt his self esteem". While I do not believe in beating someone, I do believe that we've reached a point were parents' hands have been tied. If you so much as put them in time-out for one minute more than the so called experts recommend, then you might expect a report filed against you for abuse.

While I do not support abusive behavior (verbal or physical) I do support the concept of tough love. So many adults and kids out there just don't care (heart to heart conversations have no effect on them) and if parents aren't allowed to nip that behavior in the bud then what kind of adult do you think the kid will turn into?
