I want to go, don't want to go.

WOW...25 yrs. LOL...I look back at the "hood" walking the halls of that school (what I remember of it). Whew...high school...

What did/would y'all do?

my 20th was this past weekend. I didnt go.. I saw some of the guys playing golf adjacent to my property here. But that was from a distance. High School for me was turmoil most of the time. I had some good times yes.. but there were more bad than good. I was very suicidal then. I guess if you feel comfortable going .. go. But if your not .. dont.

I agree. People change and become more mature. They are still looking at each other and comparing themselves to former classmates, but they are kinder to one another. They will concentrate what has happened to them since graduation.

. It is a way to relive one's youth. On one level, you will all be back in school with vivid memories replayed. Inside stories and jokes will resurface. At least it was the way with my class.

I went to my first reunion and had fun. Some of us got along better after ten years. Now, that I have changed so drastically, my next might be problamatic.

If you feel comfortable and know a friend or two will be there, go. Otherwise do something else.

I haven't gone to any of mine. At the 5-year, I was busy having a baby . The ones past that, I've been too fat to face people! It's depressing. I mean, I was mildly overweight (we're talkin' 20-25 lbs) in high school, but now that I'm a cow, I prefer to hide.

I think it might be interesting to see some folks, but pretty much, I'm in touch with the people from high school that I want to be in touch with. I don't live anywhere near where I grew up now, and it's time, expense, etc to get there just to satisfy my curiosity.

Hey, that's the ticket -- you go to yours so I can live vicariously through you!

havent had my 25 year yet, but at my 10 year... not much had changed. The trouyble makers were still trouble makers.... the girls were still all after my husband.. lol.....

I have been to none and have come to the conclusion after missing; um hum, a few of them that I am missing nothing. I moved away the day after I graduated and have not been back. I have no regrets, I don't know anyone. It's fine with me. I don't think I will ever return. The school I visited with hubby 5 years ago, it's a different place now with reorginization of districts, the teachers are mostly dead and long buried. OOPs, guess I hit a button here, sorry. I think you should do what you most outrageous fantasy is and have a ball.

Beg pardon, I'm 41 and I have earned every single freakin' one of those years the hard way, baby! And all the gray hairs and flab that come with them! I wouldn't be 20 again for anything, anyway.

well, i don't remember much of high school and though there are a couple of people that i would love to see how they're doing, i've really not kept up with anything.

the more i've thought about this, the more painful the associated memories have been so i'm saying "no". all in all, that's just not a time i care to revisit. actually, it was the height of some hell on earth.

part of me wants to go back, though, see others and know i made it... i don't need to go to a reunion to do that, though, do i?

everyone that i see says, "you haven't changed a bit!" LOL. Um, if they only knew...

You're welcome. You seem to be thinking clearly about this. In my case, a reunion was simplier. With only 11 in our graduating class, we could have held it in a van.
