It's the fault of the three foam pads I have on my mattress, I tell you! OOOOO OWIES!!! What a damnable rude awakening I got this morning!! The pads had slipped beyond the edge of the mattress and kept right on slipping... with me on them! OOOOO OWIES!!! What woke me up was me slapping my nose on the edge of my night table and then landing on top of my poor dog Amber!! She layed there for a minute, stunned, I'm sure. Not knowing what had happened to her, either! She slipped out from under me and as I shook my head to get my bearings, blood went flying on the edge of the bed and drop, drop, by fat drop on the floor! eeewwwww I don't like the sight of my own blood! FREAKY!!

It took me a while to get it stopped but no mirror in sight! For all I knew, I had split my nostril open! I couldn't figure out if the blood was coming from only the outside of my nostril or from the inside too.

I think I layed on the floor for a good 15 minutes trying to stop the bleeding. Three Kleenex's later, it had stopped. When I tried to brace myself on the bed to get up, it went skooting across the room on it's damnably annoying casters!! Eventually, I just made like a stink bug with my but in the air and managed to stand up.

Now I am SORE all over! OOOOO OWIES!!! Three Tylenol haven't helped... Maybe lunch out with my best friend will help...

OOOOO OWIES!!! Ooooh... woe is me!!!! OOOOO OWIES!!!

It got better, Jax... after three tylenol! It took my body to realize what had happened but when it did, it started protesting.

My best friend came and took me out to lunch and them some shopping. I had comfort food, which I don't often do but I had Cournty Fried Steak and eggs. There's just something about gravey, ya know? Go figure! LOL

Beth, if you hadn't truned this into something funny, I would have known that was something drastically wrong with you! OOOOO OWIES!!!

How can you go bump, bump, bump down the stairs??? I tried that one time and IT HURT!!!! I guess it's better than sliding down the banister, though! LOL That sudden stop is a killer! OOOOO OWIES!!!

Ya know, I had to laugh at myself this morning while I was still on the floor. I was pinching my nose with a tissue to stem the blood flow and it wouldn't stop. Without a mirror, I couldn't tell for sure where the blood was coming from, so I wadded up a Kleenex and stuck it up my nose and tried to get up. Thing is, I was sitting on the sheet that had come with me and my foot slipped. Wound up sitting on my round butt again and going cross-eyed to look at the tissue up my nose. Just about then I thought what a sight I might be and busted out laughing. Amber thought I was crying and started licking my face like she usually does when I cry silently. Then she started licking my nose and for an instant, I thought she might bite it! She nibbles it when she gives me kisses, so I over reacted. By this time the tissue was soaked and was beginning to drip on the floor. THEN I started crying... then laughing... then cussing the housekeeper that was supposed to have cleaned by bedroom yesterday. She didn't EVEN begin to get under the bed!! OOOOO OWIES!!! What a comedy of errors!!

Oh, yeah! The getting up! OMG!! OOOOO OWIES!!! Because of the arthritis in my knees, it hurts to be on them even if I was kneeling on a cloud, so I got off them as fast as I could by litteraly standing on all fours... that made my butt stick up in the air like a stink bug does when it shoots his stinky stuff... That had to look hilarious!!

I wanna know!! Who falls out of bed at MY age???? Only me, I'm sure! LMBO! It's the foam pads, I tell ya! They slid and took me with them! OOOOO OWIES!!! Not MY fault! OOOOO OWIES!!!

OOOOO OWIES!!!
