I was actually in a GOOD MOOD today...... But then, I left my house!! OMG! People around here Really need to STOP DRINKING THE BONG WATER so early in the morning!!! There MUST be some kind of game going on that I'm not aware of. The object of the game seems to be to see HOW MANY TIMES the light will change BEFORE SOMEONE BLOWS THEIR HORN AT YOU!!! I laid on my horn this morning. THIS IS AN EVERY DAY THING PEOPLE! As hard as I try to avoid these Idiot drivers, they always seem to find me. I'm half tempted to write an editorial for the local newspaper to let these people know how damn irritating they are! I'm SICK & TIRED of getting behind people who OBVIOUSLY have NO PLACE TO BE by 8 am! Not to mention the "lovely" Street Department who has set up an obstacle course of orange buckets and cones along my path! And the inconsiderate, nose-picking Yokel who drove FIFTEEN MILES UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT for a half a mile before my last stop ! I am thoroughly convinced it's a conspiracy against me! God I can't wait til summer!!

Man ... don't come to Kansas then. Every day I find that guy that drives 10 mph under the speed limit until I switch lanes and get beside him (or her) and then they realize it and speed up to 15 mph over the speed limit. I also get the guy that turns right out of the left lane, crossing right in front of me and then gives me the bird.

And don't get me started about the guy paying the bills in his left hand with his cell phone in his right hand while driving 70 mph on the freeway ...

Sometimes I wish I had one of those monster trucks with huge wheels just to drive over assholes who act like that. I'm dead serious here. (Even though I would probably give them enough time to get out of the car, ehehe.) It's a weekly thing for me (just when we go for groceries) but oooh boy. I really wish they'd stop handing out driver's licenses to every idiot that has the cash to pay for one.

In Ohio the left lane is also the slow lane.

(Of course Ohio residents also consider themselves to be in the mid-west, so it's probably related. Translation for those in Ohio: a. the left lane is not the slow lane, and b. you are not in the mid-west.)

Lol! Yeah, here in Kansas everyone has it in their head that the right lane is the fast/HOV lane.

The world is rapidly changing. People either realize it or sense it. Its almost like the world has lost its kindness and consideration for anyone else anymore. Its very sad and I think it will only get worse, unfortunately.

Yeah well, if you see someone using a riding lawnmower as a source of transportation, ya know you're in Arkansas! Tractors are also common to see puttin down the streets doing a whopping 5 miles an hour.

As an Ohio resident myself, I second all of those. That's the fun of driving I-70 across downtown Columbus to and from work every day. Let me add those slow pokes cutting into the aforementioned left lane without using their turn signals. I guess I must be a communist or something because that's evidently what using turn signals must make you.

Driving too fast is, obviously, extremely dangerous and a stupid thing to do. Driving too slowly is also dangerous and stupid. I drive at the speed limit and I frequently find myself stuck behind a driver who is driving 15mph in a 30mph zone. I assume they are having a conversation on their phone, or texting, or are otherwise distracted. Or just thoughtless and a poor driver. Whatever is going on, the frustration of being forced to poke along behind some dork is infuriating.

When driving with a cell phone ban was on the ballot somebody told me it was her RIGHT to drive and talk. So I asked her about going hands free. She said that was DISCRIMINATION against poor people because Bluetooth headsets were too expensive and headsets aren't good enough. I kid you not.

So then I observed that she had a 7 year old and would regularly be the car pool mom. Now she really didn't like me pointing that out

As for me I really think people who slow me down ought to be hogged tied and they also have absolutely no right whatsoever to honk if I am going just a little too slow for their satisfaction. Their reasons are NEVER as important as my reasons.

My pet peeve out here in the west is moving to the lane everyone else is in. Wtf?! They have two lanes for a reason! Oh and they don't know how to merge. That drives me nuts. I'm cruising at a fine pace and you think it's ok to cut in front going 15 mph under the speed limit? Sheesh!

I live in a rural state where 95% of the people treat the (left) passing lane as the passing lane... but we are overrun by rich tourists from a nearby state who think the left lane is the 'fast' lane. Driving in the summer is brutal.

The people who text or surf on their phones while driving really, really scare me. They drive worse than drunks. I saw someone doing that (and blocking traffic in the passing lane) who had a big DAYCARE decal on the back of their car.

Last week I was in line at a toll booth. I swear to pete the person at the head of the line must have been paying in pennies! They'd drop something in the bin. Turn back and root around in the car. Drop something in the bin. Turn back and root around in the car. They did this FIVE times! Meanwhile the old man in the car behind me is leaning on his horn and shouting curses at ME! WTF?!?!

I don't drive slow or fast. I just drive the speed limit as I can't afford a ticket. The people where I live think putting on their turn signals means they have the right to cut you off. Of course, most people don't even use one and just cut over and almost run into someone else's car. They tailgate which drives me crazy. There is an accident on EVERY SINGLE major roadway EVERY morning and EVENING. They just can't drive here.

Once a car swerved from the left lane in between me and an 18 wheeler to get over to an exit four lanes over because they didn't want to wait their turn. They almost plowed into the side of the truck.

And don't get me started at the jerks who think a stoplight means time to check their text messages. They just sit there when the light's green and then I get stuck at the damn light. Plus the idiots on their phones while driving who swerve all over the place because they're not paying attention.

Really, I don't know how these jerks get a license. They apparently will give them to anyone.

Oh while we're at it, I've got another one for you. I get in the left lane to pass someone going slow, and then that person decides to speed up to not let me pass. What, are your friends going to think you're a loser because my Honda Civic passed you

Drivers who search for their address by going reeaaall slllloowww and swiveling their head around trying to read the teeny numbers on tall buildings.

Not a problem if it's an old in a buick. But it's the guy with a suv with a tv screen in it, no less, and he can't gps it or map it? No offense to normal drivers in suv's.

I worked in a psychiatric hospital MANY years ago and there was a woman there who said she carried around a gun in her glovebox just for when someone blew their horn at her. I guess she hadn't used it yet, but that scared the crap out of me and I never blow my horn at someone.

I keep saying that I'm going to start carrying bags of marshmallows in my truck & when drivers start "camping out" at red lights, I'm gonna throw them and yell "HERE'S SOME MARSHMALLOWS FOR YOUR CAMPFIRE ASSHOLE!!"
