We had to find new homes for the sheep before we moved, because we knew we wouldn't be able to keep all of them in the city. We have an acre here, and were able to keep our llama and a couple of goats, and the chickens that the last people left here. But we are limited on how many animals we can have - maximum of four goats or sheep.

Most of the sheep went to Arizona, to the Navajo reservation, which is fitting since they are Navajo-Churro sheep. They have started lambing. So far, two have lambed, and I have received a picture of one lamb. If you want to see the baby, he's posted on my blog. http://ddiamond.net

I miss the sheep, and being able to play with the babies. We've got lambs (sort-of) I think when it starts warming up I'll have to look into getting angora rabbits again. I don't think there are ordinances on how many rabbits I can have here.

I got pics of the second lamb too. I hope the pics keep coming. I miss my sheepies. At least I know they are well cared for.
