I never remember the name of it, a rather small black smart phone with a pull out keyboard, a camera and all that cool stuff phones are supposed to have now lol. I do know it is an LG of some kind.

I have a blackberry but will be changing over to Samsung next month. I'm nervous to go to touch screen as I have fat fingers

I'm such a technophobe that the idea of having a cell phone smarter than me is intimidating. I still have a a landline but am looking at smart phones that I can text on, The choices are terrifying.

I can see down the road to where a smartphone or something like it would be a great tool to have handy.

But for now, it's just not feasible.

I have a Nokia dumbphone that only will do calls and texts. It won't even download ringtones.

Same here. I still can't believe I actually own a smartphone. But I didn't go with anything fancy. I just got a Nokia Lumia 521. It's kind of a basic smartphone for the not so tech savvy.
Thanks for this!

Thanks for the reminder - I have been meaning to replace the camera cover in my elderly Samsung Galaxy which I managed to scratch, using a £3 repair kit from somewhere dodgy in the Far East, and now it is mended. I am allergic to spending money, it brings me out in hives, so I tend to keep this phone for as long as I can. And yes it is smarter than me, but so is my car, camera and TV.
Thanks for this!

iPhone 4s. My last phone was a Galaxy (one of the first ones), and I loved it. Considering going back to Android with my next phone. I miss all the bells and whistles!

Android with a fuscia pink covering.

My dad will be canceling internet service on our phones, so I'll have to use wifi instead.

Samsung Exhilerate. I finally couldn't take it having a dumb phone any longer while all my friends had their smart phones for years before me but I couldn't afford it until then & I refuses to get involved in a contract....a year ago last August, I bought this from Amazon.com & all the accessories......me, the engineering techie person was the last on the block to get a smart phone.

I love it but this phone has some real strange quirks.....don't know if the phone of the AT&T go phone service....think it's the phone software though because there are times when it won't ACK a text message & I get like 30 of the same message sent to my phone (that is my software problem in the communications area). It hangs a lot also.....& I managed to break the plug in to charge it so I had to buy an external battery charger. Now I have 3 batteries for the phone & keep them all charged so ready whenever the battery dies. Love it because I can have a smart phone for only $47.70/month where before I was paying over $70 for the dumb phone service.....the go phone set up works just as well with auto pay as going directly the way I was with AT&T before.....There is no other service that works at my farm than AT&T.......so I've been with them even before I moved here.

I don't have TV & I don't have a land line. My internet service is transmitted to my house from the nearest water tower & I use the wifi mostly for my phone so I can go with the cheapest possible service. I have an antenna on my fireplace that picks up the internet signal & then by wire it's taken up to my computer room......interesting life living in the country....but I'm glad they do have techie stuff available or I would have been LOST.

Cricket is only $35/month and it's also now on AT&T towers. Your SMS text problem, could be the app. Try to find it in the Application Manager and clear the cache and data, and see if that helps.

I still don't have even a basic cell phone and I very rarely use my land line. I won't even answer the phone unless my wife's cell phone number is displayed. I used to work for the Phone Company and had enough of using phones.
Thanks for this!
