I wonder if different cultures, races, ethnicities, socioeconomic status, cultures, when reading books without too much detail leads them to think in terms of those demographics. When reading a story of Santa Clause do Black people put an African American Santa, Mexican, a Mexican Santa, Asians the same in their mind when reading that story?
Thanks for this!

I wonder how difficult it would be to get out from under and very large, financially powerful, organization when you disagree with the tenants? What if this is a religious group? I wonder if it would be worth leaving and what it would take to get out?

I wonder if the United States will ever switch to Metric system of measurements. It is such an inconvenience for folks who are mentally exhausted.
Thanks for this!

I wonder why it is okay to play trailers to ghost stories, murder movies, and scary/traumatizing horror shows before youtube videos and NOT allow someone the function to skip it. It's like you're purposely subjecting someone at random to watch/hear something they might not want to hear and with no advanced notice or warning. I always scramble to close the window, but even then I still catch at least 3 seconds of it and it makes me want to rip my hair out that I can't prevent or predict it.

I wondered about the metic system in May 2014 and an aquaintence of mine said,

Quote:
"Metric is supposed to be sooooo much easier, but those that have looked into it know it isn't. For length (in the standard system) I'm dealing with nice round numbers like 12, 3, 5280, etc. For volumes we get nice numbers like 2 and 4. Move over to metric and suddenly we're using 2.54 and 3.785. Yeah, that's so much easier.

Also nature uses the Standard measurement for time with numbers like 12, 60, 7, and 30. Don't go against nature - abandon the metric system!"
I wonder what you think when you look at it that way?
Thanks for this!

Connections, I wonder if the acquaintance of yours would like my pair of shoes.

Put your feet in my shoes and see what it's like. I wear size 25.5 cm.

I wonder how long this fluorescent light bulb in the kitchen last. I also wonder about the lifespan of my hard drive sometimes. Yet, I don't do that with HUMANS.

I wonder how seeing a few people from my past can revive such strong emotion that it leaves me depressed and anxious for an entire day or maybe longer.

Best wishes, Gayle

I wonder why all people think they are caught in traffic, when in fact they are the traffic.

I wonder why people's 10th birthday isn't the biggest one since it is the most special number wise, the only time you change numbers of digits (unless you get to be 100).

I wonder if pink is a "cute" color in other cultures.

I also wonder if there is a culture that has no music.
Thanks for this!

I wonder why a 26 year old wanted to marry Charles Manson?
I wonder what is in it for her?
I wonder what went through her mind and what her family thought about that wedding?

I wonder why sometimes the most simplest of choices -

Are made into the most complicated of tactics by some?

I mean not everything has be so difficult to find a solution to - really? Less truly IS MORE sometimes.

I wonder what people think of calorie reduction, exercise, good nutrition, medication, surgery? I wonder when concern over weight is too much? I wonder what portion of all this is self-view/self-esteem? Health driven? Society with the models and advertising that is put out all over the place so typical woman compare themselves to “touched up” models? Obviously this is a much larger issue that I in this post but it is something I’m wondering about.

To be concerned means to do something about it.
People are not concerned about their weight; They are obsessed about it.
If people become concerned about their health (and actually live a healthy lifestyle) they will not obsess about their weight.
BTW...a healthy body is a beautiful body.

Basically people need to suffer from their ignorance until they get smart.

Many people wonder why they themselves married a particular person.
There are numerous reasons why people get married.

It all boils down to the fact that "it seemed like the thing to do at the time,"

The MP name comes from the ISO 3166 specification.
ISO 3166 is a standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that defines codes for the names of countries, dependent territories, special areas of geographical interest, and their principal subdivisions (e.g., provinces or states). The official name of the standard is Codes for the representation of names of countries and their subdivisions.

I am fairly certain that MP means Mariana Pacific

As a kid I often heard, "Mo money, mo money, mo money." I showed my son some clips from In Living Color and he asked me, "In Spanish do they shorten "Mas" to "Ma" too and say "Ma $ (in Spanish), ma $, ma $"? I wonder...
