I wonder if Trembling Voice is brave enough to hug someone? I'm sure it will brighten the recipient's day.

Thanks IrisBloom! , you are so kind. I am sure a part of the problem is that my username will be there once I click, and I don't really like my username on here because it's very negative and pathetic. I guess I should first get over my negativity before I try to make someone feel better about their situation/problem. The other part of the problem is awkwardness and anxiety thing I believe.

Human nature fascinates me. There is a paradox seen when we study dishonesty. Alghough most of us care about being moral and ethical, people step over that line all the time. Studies have shown pervasive cheating at nearly every stage of life. The romantic notion of youthful innocence is not accurate. Cheating by students is rampant: over half of high school students admit to cheating, and the numbers appear to be just as bad or worse than the college level. Graduate students cheat, too, with business students leading the way (56% admit to doing so) and law students actually below average (45%). 51% of H.S. students admitted to cheating on a test, 61% admitted to having lied to their teacher, and 20% admitted to having stolen something from the store and 93% of those surveyed reported "satisfaction with their own ethics and character." If you watch your children, students, co-workers, your employees you may see it happening. It does not just come down to the possibility of them getting caught that keeps them honest. I wondered what is driving it all. There has been some research on this and it is baffling. Tax Payers defraud the government $385 billion each year while 90% of the public agrees that, "it is every American's civic duty to pay their fair share of taxes." We are reluctant to acknowledge it but we all have this capacity. When I talk to inmates they often minimize their behavior and do not like to be called a criminal. I think it might partially be due to humans deceiving ourselves. When one study said, "Please don’t cheat" and "Please don’t be a cheater" there was a significant difference with the change in wording as people like to save face and if changed from the verb, "Cheat" was used some people still cheated but when the self-relevant noun, "Cheater" was used and the participants' identities were suddenly implicated there was no cheating. There is a lot that goes into this and I hope this was not boring for all that read it but this stuff fascinates me.

I wonder if the concept of kindness isn't really that simple, and in spite of the overuse of the word, it can be really deceiving? I mean , is it possible to think of myself as a kind person , but the truth is..I am not really that kind but I am not aware of it?

On another note , I think kindness towards cuteness is the norm, it's supposed to be a human nature, that's why most people love "for example" their cute pets, maybe there is an evolutionary reason behind cuteness, which is simply (to take care of them), same thing applies to human babies as well.

Most people (including me) think of this adorable kitten as sooo cute, her expressions make you feel that the kitten is so helpless in a big world, and of course a lot of people would pay to take care of her:

But what about other helpless animals that were not lucky enough to be "cute" in most humans eyes. I am sure not everyone is in love with sphynx cat, (including me).
A lot of people asks online " how to get rid of a lizard?" , and there are already sprays to get rid of it although it's not even harmful, but it's not a very beautiful creature from a human perspective.

This reminds me of how most people cry when they watch a sad movie. Yes the story of the movie was sad , also hmmm that actress was so gorgeous and the actor's smile is so perfect. On the other hand only very few people cry when they watch the news and see "real" sad stories and people starving to death in other places in the world. Personally I don't cry whether it's a movie or news "I don't know why".

By the way, I am not taking myself seriously or anything. This is just a thought jumped into my head. And sorry about my English.

I wonder why this page lasted too long , I am waiting for page 55 because I don't want to post more than once in the same page lol.

Actually Connections's thread is the reason why I signed in as a member. I didn't remember my password but the site sent my email to reset it, and I started to post here again. I used to browse this site and another 2 sites as a guest.
I hope I am not annoying people here , everyone here is so nice and there's not even one person judged me or commented on my bad English or my depressing posts.
I only wished I came up with another username (a nicer or cool one).

If only there were people as encouraging and supportive as you in real life, IrisBloom! I don't think I am extremely annoying, but there are reasons why I have zero confidence in myself and why I gave up trying to rebuild it. I just hope you never change your opinion about me because I like to write opinions on life in general, and usually people who give opinions/views on things are not the most liked people.

I have always wondered how "we know": a fish has a very short attention span? I wonder if they sleep like us humans. I wonder how they don’t get super bored swimming in a little bowl all day long?

I wonder just what the heck is going on with the public health and TB around here. Last year there was a problem with hundreds of newborns being exposed to TB at a hospital. Right now there's a problem were hundreds of kids at an elementary school got exposed to TB, and they're still testing people. And the health depatment just found out that there were a whole bunch of TB exposures at a halfway house. I'm just dumbfounded. Makes you not want to go anywhere.

Hi Hooli,

It does not say, "Money is not the root of all evil." It says, "The love of money is the root of all evil." 1 Tim. 6:10 reads
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. in the KJV

NASB says:
10 For the love of money is a root of all [a]sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Hi Umbral_Seraph. I wonder how much people's stopping doing vaccinations in general might play into the TB in your community. I dont thinkg TB Vaccination is done much in the U.S. but in other coutries that have more TB they do. Thank you for ur addition
