Grazie tante! Thats the problem, i learned by ear, and everybody just slurs the end of words. Plus they change depending on masc, fem, singular, plural - so i sound (and write) like a dummy, but yeah i DO understand everything. At the end of my visit, another of my aunts said something i thought was rather blunt, if not rude, then she said to me (also in italian), "did you understand that?" I replied in italian, "yes, i told you the first day, non parlo...!" She goes, "oh no!" Lol!

I can't blame you for that...Italian is very very harder language to learn than English mate.
I think that the only more complex language to learn are the Nordic ones

I was going to say earlier, i think its excellent. I saw your posts before, and i never noticed anything about your language, and i am pretty fussy! I only noticed you were from italy when you identified the brie as cheesecake. both brie and cheesecake were long unknown to me too! I was born in america but my parents came to america as adults.
Thanks for this!

Thank you mate for your opinion. I'm glad to know that my English is good. I really love English language and English people. I visited London years ago and I literally felt in love. Hope to move there in the next 5-6 years
So you are American ?
Thanks for this!

Your written English is excellent. I would not have guessed it was not your first language.

I enjoy learning about cultures not like my own.

When my daughter was small, preschool age, she said she wanted to be a "cheese taster" when she grew up!
Thanks for this!

I notice in the grocery stores that even if the Parents are not buying stuff from the Deli, they stop for a slice of cheese for the kid.

I like blue cheese on crackers. It isn't my favorite so I didn't list it.

Asiago is really good in sandwiches and salads.
