Here's one of my tats. It's on my right shoulder. I really want to add to it making it a quarter sleeve. But I have no ideas about a theme or what to add to the stars. Help! All ideas welcome

You can use the stars as sort of a sky and maybe do water someplace under that.
I would turn it into a nautical thing but thats just me I am into all things nautical. Go for water and maybe the moon. You can do a mermaid of some sort in the water or sitting on a rock at night in the moonlight. IMHO. LOL.

Got another idea lol. You can do a sailboat sailing under the moon and stars.
Giving the whole thing sort of a mystical look.

You can do water and a whale or a Narwhal.
Narwhals make beautiful tattoos and have sort of a mystical look which would work well with the look of your stars.

well first the whole tattoo ought to be grey scale I think. By the way, it is a beautiful start. I have a thing about dragon flies. I think you could fit thiem in nicely with the theme you already have going. One or two in grey scale would be great.
And why the dragon fly? It represents individual strength. It also is symbolic of change and transformation. It is about being a free spirit. |

I like color far more than black tattoos but thats just me and to each their own.
RxQueen what are you thinking? any ideas you want to maybe work with? The dragonfly thing is cool. I would also think about water and a sea turtle. They are another animal that are very strong and strong willed. They are great symbolism and there are many cool designs out there.

All these are great ideas. I would like mostly blacks with pops of color here and there. Maybe something mythical and pretty. I do like the dragon fly idea. And fishing fool, your tat work is great!
