I'm looking for ideas I can do to help me relax. Being bipolar I have a constant drive to DO SOMETHING. It's hard for my brain to shut off and it's hard to not constantly be in motion.

What can I do to relax?

Here's a few things that come to mind:

Read
Journal
Crochet
Do yoga
Meditate
Take a bath
Color or draw
Listen to soothing music

Watch relaxing video: ocean waves, fireside, grass swaying in the breeze, etc.
Spritz your bedside with lavender, the scent is very relaxing.

Take a walk out in nature. I love taking my dogs & walking/hiking through my woods. I love riding horses & a beautiful trail ride in the country is vary calming while still doing

Go fishing. Thats what I love the most and it takes my mind off of
everything else. There is a lot to learn and it is great fun.
It is really a wonderful hobby for bipolar people.
Some folks swear by fly fishing for relaxation.
A lot of women take to it I think because their is a gracefulness to it.
That is not really my thing. I love surf fishing and fishing from boats.
It creates lots of wonderful memories.
