I'm looking for ideas I can do to help me relax. Being bipolar I have a constant drive to DO SOMETHING. It's hard for my brain to shut off and it's hard to not constantly be in motion.
What can I do to relax? Here's a few things that come to mind: Read Journal Crochet Do yoga Meditate Take a bath Color or draw Listen to soothing music |

Watch relaxing video: ocean waves, fireside, grass swaying in the breeze, etc.
Spritz your bedside with lavender, the scent is very relaxing.

Take a walk out in nature. I love taking my dogs & walking/hiking through my woods. I love riding horses & a beautiful trail ride in the country is vary calming while still doing

Go fishing. Thats what I love the most and it takes my mind off of
everything else. There is a lot to learn and it is great fun. It is really a wonderful hobby for bipolar people. Some folks swear by fly fishing for relaxation. A lot of women take to it I think because their is a gracefulness to it. That is not really my thing. I love surf fishing and fishing from boats. It creates lots of wonderful memories.
