I love my makeup collection. I used to love going to Sephora. Now I just order what I need from there, due to an issue with my left eye (being runny and with dried mucus in my lashes when I sleep sorry for the gross tmi). I want to wear my makeup. I have close to 100 shades of eye shadow. (Bare Essentuals). It was/is always such a rush to buy it.

I used to work for Bare Minerals. Great company. Very nice makeup!
Sorry about your eye. I hope it's only temporary.

That was one of my dreams, to work for them! . (I have to get my eye situation taken care of. The theory is that my swollen sinuses (from something, not sure what) are putting added pressure on that eye. I hope I'll find out what can be done if I can ever get to my opthalmologist.)

So what was it like to work for Bare Minerals?

And since that is going on with my eye,
now I'm getting into nail polish, too. So many irresistible colors.

Bare Minerals is one of my favorite brands!
However, I'm all about Urban Decay most of the time. :3

I have a huge palette of UD eyeshadow too. It's in a foldout tray type of thing with a flower pop up in the middle. I love both brands lol.

Is it the Alice Through The Looking Glass palette they've just released?

I got my first UD palette (Electric) a few months ago and the quality is beyond impressive. Since then, most of my cosmetic purchases have been UD. They just rock.

Yes, they do, i have several of their lipsticks too. The palette i have came out in 2008 i think. I'll have to search for the Alice one that came out. Love looking at it.

I love skincare, hair stuff and luxury bath and shower stuff and body cream and mist too!
Sanctuary, ted baker and soap and glory are our favourites.
We actually went to the sanctuary spa in Covent Garden before it closed :-)
Thanks for this!

Sephora online stopped carrying my soap and glory hand creams. Maybe Ulta is carrying it now. Love their cream that fades age spots.

They 're a great company to work for. Fabulous discount - 50%. Being that their makeup isn't as pricey as some other brands, you were basically getting it for free. Christmas time is awesome because they put out all of their sets that are unbelievable priced. Then there's gratis!! Makeup artists looove gratis! Good benefits as well. Best part is you get to do makeup all day long!!

I hope your eye clears up soon! Poor thing.
Thanks for this!

I've never used urban decay before. I did buy my niece a cute palette by them for Christmas, along with Benefit 'they're real" mascara. I do love that mascara with it's crazy medieval torture device looking wand. Really gotta be careful not to poke your eye out with that one!
From Philiosophy I love their Micro-Delivery Duel Phase Peel. My skin feels so smooth after using it.
I am actually discovering Olay has some really good anti-aging products. After years of using department store brands, I am reading some really interesting things. I am in!
Thanks for this!

I love makeup! I am Lancôme girl. It's pricey but I time myself for gift with purchase and I only buy their face cream and foundation ( the best). The rest comes free. I haven't bought mascara and lipstick for years!

I am glad you are doing well Robyn!

So funny, today I was in a rush so no time for make-up, my husband says he prefers me without and that I have good skin.

I don't wear a whole load but I enjoy the whole ritual of applying it, although I don't really look so different with it on. It's the experience of it, the experimentation, femininity. I think what I look like at the end is secondary to those things.

Ah I love getting new makeup I was recently able to get a 100 color eyeshadow pallet at Burlington Coat Factory for over half off! I've been using green again for the first time in over two years. My daughter spazzed haha, she's used to seeing nude, pink or black, not green!

Though I need a new mascara :T mine don't seem to work well. Guess it's time to move to another brand of mascara that isn't e.l.f.
