I just finished watching an "I Love Lucy" episode (1951). Lucy and several other "dancers" were trying out to be in one of Rickys' upcoming shows. One of the prerequisites to perform was to be thin enough to fit in a size 12 outfit.

Those were the days Our views of body image sure have changed.

OMG. yah, i love "I Love Lucy" I used to watch it all the time. Now I watch it when I get a chance, because I'm busy a lot and it doesnt come on as much, but when I see it on tv, I love to watch it. It was way before I was born, but I have grown to love the show. my dad got me into it years ago. Those were the days
