My husband, who is the best friend I've ever had

My job went okay today and I even finished on time.

Getting my hair done. She also waxes my brows and does a great hand/forearm massage.

being able to stay home and lay low today.

My group of friends. Who all visited me while in hospital.
I managed to ignore my mum when I yawned and she said "there's no way you can be tired you don't do anything" and she wouldn't interrupt her routine to have a quick cuppa. sigh. And also told me I need to watch my money. Everything comes down to that with her. In her mind I am destined to be poor and destitute, just a drain on hardworking peoples tax.
I didn't have a choice but to leave the job! I wanted to save for a holiday. Gutted

Having tortillas in the frig because we're out of bread. The little things...

That we still are together as a family, even though it can be awkward sometimes.

I am grateful for some good news regarding my impending move and its impact upon my income assistance. Actually the news is there won't be any impact. I am so relieved.

The roofers started today, and they want to work through the weekend. We're not expecting rain again until Monday.

I am grateful for my daughter's boyfriend who made dinner tonight. My husband and I are pretty sick at the moment. Cooking would've been a trial.

I survived the last 3 or so weeks with out anyone dying, getting hurt or put in jail.
