This WILL be stuck in your head for days:
My goal is to be beach body ready and stuff a wild bikini this summer..."36-22-36!" This is the swimsuit I picked out. It doesn't have the metal between the breast, it's a pushup, and the bottoms has black fabric with a ribbon of the same color around the waist. I picked it out when I was feeling uber confident about myself, but I gained 12 pounds this month and now I'm not so confident with my body. I really, really, really, want to wear a bikini this summer. So I need to lose weight and lose weight fast so that I can rock a bikini this year (and, ya know, eat healthy and stuff). My grandparents have been on this three-day diet for a year. Basically, you eat small portions of pre-planned meals for three days, then for four days you eat normally while avoiding overeating. Pretty basic stuff. I've shared these meals with my grandparents and it's not a gimmick. No tricks. No special ordering. My grandparents have had dramatic results and it's all healthy "pick up at the grocery store" meals. Here's what I'll be doing starting tomorrow for three days. First day: Breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit or 1/2 c Juice 1 Slice toast 1 T peanut butter Black coffee or tea Lunch: 1/2 c tuna (equivelant to one can) 1 slice toast Black coffee or tea Dinner: 2 Slices or 3 oz meat (Mamma and Papa substitute with 2 hot dogs) 1 c string beans (vegetables can be subbed with any steamed veggies) 1 c carrots or beets (veggies subbed with any steamed veggies) 1 small apple 1/2 c vanilla ice cream Second Day Breakfast: 1 hardboiled egg (can be served any style) 1 slice toast 1/2 banana Black coffee or tea Lunch: 1 C cottage cheese or 1/2 can tuna 5 saltine crackers Black coffee or tea Dinner: 2 hot dogs 1 c cabbage or broccoli 1/2 c carrots or turnip greens 1/2 banana 1/2 c vanilla ice cream Third Day: Breakfast: 1 slice cheddar cheese 5 saltine crackers 1 small apple Black coffee or tea Lunch: 1 hardboiled egg 1 slice toast coffee or tea Dinner: 1 c tuna (aka 2 cans) 1 c carrots or beets 1 c green beens or cauliflower 1 c cantelope or 1 small apple 1/2 c vanilla ice cream Black coffee or tea See, it's real food, just in small portions. Please do not judge this diet. That would not be beneficial to me. I've had these meals when visiting my grandparents, and I've seen the weight they've lost and that it is also possible to maintain weight while on this diet as after they've lost the weight they decided to simply maintain the weight they had. The hardest part will be to stick to the diet and to not go crazy on my off days. I would like support and people to cheer me on but not to judge the diet I am on. I hope it will work for me and a diet I can stick to as an emotional eater. It will be a new experience and I hope all goes well. I will keep you updated on my progress, but its important to have the cheerleaders rooting for me and to post about as to remind myself to stick to the plan. My parents bought a good portion of my meals for the next three days, so now it's time to put my words into actions. I can do this! ![]() |

I wish you the best of luck on your new plan, but I just wanted to say something that stuck with me...seeing a quote that said:
"How to get a bikini body: Put a bikini on your body" You don't need to be at a certain weight in order to wear a two-piece or any article of clothing, rock it at whatever size you are! ![]() |

I asked my dad for 100% cranberry juice, and he brought back cranberry juice cocktail with a giant 100% label with a tiny "100% vitamin C". Don't you just hate when the label tricks you like that? At first I thought of returning it, but then I decided to compare cranberry juice vs cranberry juice cocktail via google, and the biggest difference is that cranberry juice is sweetened with other juices while cranberry juice cocktail is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup and it's the same amount of calories and sugar content. So I looked at what my dad got for me. It's Ocean Spray which is a really good brand, and there is no high fructose corn syrup on the label, just about three or four simple ingredients. So I decided to keep it instead of making an effort to return it because it's still healthy to drink and all I'll be getting to return it is the label and a different kind of sweetener.
So today is day one folks! Just about to have my breakfast. |

Honestly, I will never understand why the standard for a woman to be "sexy" or to look good in a bikini is dictated by how "thin" or "petite" she is.
There is nothing wrong with being a little thicker than society's standard of beauty. If anything a lot of guys (myself included) find women with meat on their bones sexy. In fact, I would take a 6 ft tall bulky Amazonian woman over a thin woman that looks like she has an eating disorder any day. And no, 176 pounds is not fat; far from it. Just focus on looking like yourself and being genuine and people will love you ![]() |

I remember this diet in high school. It worked well and as you said, the trick is to be careful on your days off, as you mentioned.
The thing that I had the hardest time with was the portion sizes. This is the only time it really helped to read the labels to know what was a real serving size and not overeat quantity-wise. The results go further too with some exercise to stay healthy. ![]() I may join you in this but either way......Good luck with your plan! Will be sending good wishes your way. ![]()

Hello
I want to warn you that you may have a following of men at that beach. Have fun. If you have time walking up and down the shoreline will rev up your metabolism for a while until your body adapts. Drink plenty of water sunbathing. I was into wrestling growing up and after that enjoyed powerlifting which also had wt# classes I was at 165 in powerlifting and 105 # wrestling I would post a picture but I'm to shy and don't know how. |

What's with people's agenda against people who's skinny? Jealousy? I'm constantly told that's it's basically wrong to be skinny and that I should embrace the giant pregnant belly and the overdone muffin top and the butt that is so huge people stare. Why the **** would I want to stay fat because it's wrong to be skinny? Just because all of America is fat and unhealthy doesn't make it right to shame skinny people!!! And I specifically asked not to judge me or my diet and I don't want a debate about this.

It actually depends on height. 176 pounds on 6ft Amazonian is indeed far from fat. But, 176 pounds for less than 5ft is overweight. You can't say it's not fat unless you know their heights.

![]() I personally think she only want to slimmer down a bit, not to be underweight or skinny as bones. It's ok if she want to diet, as long as she not embrace pro Ana lifestyle or having any eating disorder. |

I was referring to darkness...I don't want sarcasm on my thread with such a sensitive topic as weight loss. Support or advice only.

"Oh, I can wrap my arms around you twice!" "What are you drinking a protein shake for? You don't need it!" "You need to eat more." "You look like a twig." "Aren't you hungry?" "You're too skinny for a one-piece, wear a bikini and show off your body!" And "You need to eat less." "Don't eat that, it's fattening." "You don't look *that* fat" "You look pregnant." "If you were skinnier, that'd look good on you." "That's not a flattering outfit for your figure." "Wear a one-piece, you need to cover up." "Just because you *can* wear something doesn't mean you should." "Your big ghetto booty is the best change you've had since high school." (that hurt the most) I am teetering on obesity, and I am aware of the health issues that can come by not managing my weight including worsening of my bipolar disorder. My diet is very healthy and I also eat healthy on my off-days (I found that I am fuller faster and eating less), and I am going to exercise at least 4 days a week. My goal is to a reach a normal size weight. Again, it's not about being fat or skinny, it's about looking and feeling healthy. |

In my opinion buying the bikini is the perfect motivator.
I have trained for many years and those who want to train with me without a goal just don't last. I'm constantly hearing " I want to get fit" and that maybe the case.... but what is fit and without a target they loose motivation really quick. Your diet, your goal and your lack of interest in the nay sayers tells me that your mindset is strong enough to get results ![]()
