Around here, if you mention a racist or homophobic slur, people will flock to your business just to piss the other side off.

I'm literally afraid to go the Walmart here. I would rather not be shot.

Never really boycotted a business since most of the people here are chill. I may not return to you establishment if the service or food is not that good, but after awhile I might miss and return. Which reminds me why I was not returning to that place.

Totally Agree Starbucks is overrated by people. i found the drink there expensive than other store and the taste is not that special. But the brand name may be the reason people keep coming there

I'm about to boycott a business. I took my car in to have the clutch replaced FIVE weeks ago. The car sat there for 2 1/2 weeks; the owner was "so nice" and kept promising he'd be working on my car, that they were unusually backed up. They finally started working on it...gave me an estimate of $900...kept promising the car would be done "today", and "today", and "this afternoon"...NEVER once apologized, just kept lying to me...I went through sheer hell, calling up the shop and going over there again and again...horrible anxiety...2 weeks later finally they said the car was done. A clutch job should take about 8 hours.

My husband went in to pay the owner and get the car and - what do you know - the owner gives my husband a total that was $300 higher than the estimate. My husband asks if we can pay the quoted $900, and pay the remaining $300 next week (even though I don't want to pay them for more than parts. Just trying to avoid the anxiety of small claims court - even though I think I'd certainly win). The owner says, nope. Now, we've been loyal customers for two years. The owner knows us and knows we're trustworthy. So. There my car sits until we can pay the absurd total on Monday.

I cannot WAIT to get on Yelp and some other sites and warn potential customers against that business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few years ago I was in a cab and someone's dry cleaner's business van (said dry cleaner's was situated about four streets from my home) collided with us a few streets from my home. The van drove away. Cabby followed him, we "met" the van at the parking place of the business. Man threatened us and tried to drag the cabby from the car. Cabby called the police, who came but couldn't do anything as it was our word against his.
Needless to say, if I ever need a dry cleaner's again, I'll drive to another town.
