My 80 year old father is with me this Christmas, for the first time in 6 years. He wanted an old fashioned Christmas, so I'm doing my best to give him one as I never know when it will be his last.
He would want me to remind everyone, so I will, the reason for the season, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today we celebrate, with those we love most, his birth.

I have some homemade cinnamon rolls that are utter gut bombs--but hey, it's virtual so no calories! We celebrated yesterday so I need some strong coffee

I found a video on youtube that shows me how to assemble the food processor I got as a gift today. Yahoo! I was at a loss, and having dyslexia, reading and figuring out instructions and all that is beyond me. Thank Goodness for Youtube! LOL...

Hi all! Here where I live it's late afternoon on Christmas day. Last year we had a hard time in family, so this year just having a 'normal' and nice Christmas is ok. We went to Mass and ate at home, then in the afternoon I read some stories about Christmas. Maybe later I'll listen to some music. Here is a song I like
We will have dinner with our relatives, though usually we do it for lunch. Happy to spend time also here with my other family

My brother's pit bull and my mom's cat seem to be doing okay sharing a living space for the holiday.
