I'm hiding out in the family room, practically everyone is standing around in the kitchen doing dishes but the kitchen is really small so I left. The food was good though. BiL does nothing to help just stands around in the way cause he can't go sit by himself or talk to anyone else.

I ate such a big brunch this morning now I don't feel like cooking my special dinner, lolz. Maybe I'll save these hens for New Year's Day? That would mean I'd have to refreeze them though.

I’m baking my own honey-baked ham from a knock-off recipe. I just put it in the oven a few minutes ago. The house already smells pretty good!

Merry Christmas to all!!!
And to those who have had a rough time over the holiday, I am sending my warmest biggest most comforting HUGS!!! (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))) I am a little partied out myself. LOADS of family time each year for us, with many dinner gatherings, outings and festivities. It's fun but it's a little much for my tastes. I'm ready to call it a day, be comfy in my pajamas and watch movies by my lonesome! |

Christmas gift exchange went well. Everyone brings a dollar gifted wrapped then we shake dice in a pie pan. When you get doubles you get to pick a gift. Then once everyone has a gift comes the two minutes finial whenever you shake doubles you can switch with someone until time is up, then everyone opens their gift. A fun time is held by all.

I finally got the hens into the oven and my apartment is starting to smell awesome. In about an hour I will start on the smashed squash, and then I will also make my peach caramel pie!
And then I will die from eating all this food by myself. Hahahahha! Someone get 911 on the phone. Seesaw is going to have a heart attack!

We had turkey and ham, squash, green bean casserole, dressing, feta salad, yams, rolls, cheesy potatoes and assorted pickles and olives. Yum. Now the table is covered with desert, cookies, fudge, cake, pumkin, and various snake mixes.
