Going to see the picture shows, or a picture (we call them movies now-a-days).
Double features at the movie theater. "Gee wiz", "Golly" and "that's swell" "Bosom buddies" when referring to a close friend. This term actually references trusting someone so much you'd bare your heart, aka your bosom, to them. Or it could refrence a man trusting a friend so much he'd present his bared chest to them knowing the friend wouldn't harm him with his gun/sword. Chest is another term for bosom after all. Using the term "gay" to describe being carefree and happy, not as a reference to one's sexuality (or more rudely, as an insult or slur). That's all I can think of for now.

"I'm just tickled to death!" Here in the south you do still hear that if something was really funny or very pleasant like receiving a gift that someone was just tickled over it but, I haven't heard tickled to death in years.

The words "why" and "say" as interjections. As in, "Why, I'd love to go to the dance with you!" Or, "Say, that sure would be swell!"
