this is the bigest argument me and my boyfriend have ever had... who has it worse Tom or Jerry.... if you recall this is a cartoon... but we have had this arguement alot... i just figured you could help me deside... or help us.... remember tom is the cat.... jerry is the mouse

I think Jerry has it worse because he is always running and having to come up with clever ideas.

Tom for sure. He spends his life trying to catch a mouse that is absolutely impossible to catch.

Tom has it worse because he can't excape into walls or wherever and any destruction caused by their fighting, the humans are going to blame on him.

Plus, Tom is in the middle since the bulldog is always after him so he gets it from both sides; the frustration of never catching Jerry and Jerry's using the dog/surroundings against him.

Thats a tough one .... I'd have to go with Jerry though. He can never live his life in peace because he's always running away from something. He probably never feels safe. While its true that it would be hard for Tom because he can never catch him, i'm sure there are other little mice out there that he could catch!

i would say Tom because he is not too bright, doing the same kinds of things over and over getting the same results being pysically beaten up and never getting what he wants, he is just trying to do his job to keep the house free of rodents.

besides jerry almost always has a smile on his face, he enjoys out smarting tom and seeing him suffer, i think if jerry didn't have tom he would be bored out of his mind. jerry never loses so the exercise is probably good for him

i think it is marketing why some people favor jerry he is cute and small so he appears to be the underdog and many of us feel like the underdog at times so we can relate to jerry, but jerry is not really the underdog because he is smarter and more skilled than tom.

Ok i guess i think way too deep on a trival subject but hey it keep my mind off my problems for a few minutes LOL

I wouldn't want to be Jerry. Tom gets fed cat food by his owners but Jerry has to go "find" his food and then fight Jerry for his right to eat it.

well, i don't who has it worse. i used to watch those cartoons when i was a kid. sylvester and tweety, not as much as tom and jerry. but, in sylvester and tweety, i have to say it's sylvester who has it worse. lol. it was tom and jerry that got me crying because i wanted a real cat. of course, i got a real cat when i was 8. have had cats ever since. lol.

i feel jerry has it so worse... you can say that tom has it worse due to the girlfriend issue... but is you consider the fact tom would if he wasn't so preocupide with jerry maybe he would have a girlfriend... jerry has to run and try to out run a cat every day... his life is always thretaned... he cant be in a home without woring about getting hurt... he chose to live with tom due to the fact tom isn't bright.... he may have it hard dare... but its not jerrys fault that tom is a idiot... when it comes to the tweety vs. sylvester arguement... i choose tweety he's in the same boat as jerry.... plus he 's stuck looking like a girl... which would be different if he was gay... but as we see from one of his most resent movies... he likes %#@&#!... and its gotta be hard in a club and haveing guys hit on you and your not into guys... exspecialy when you have to worry bout a cat eating you!!! i know dis is all random... but this one of me favorite arguements!!!
