I’m irked right now because I always seem to be saying the wrong thing on PC and upsetting people who used to like me.

spoilers.
don't get me wrong, spoilers can be a lifesaver if I'm watching something a bit dark and I'm worried about possible triggers but also people going around saying... oh you know in this movie or this book the main character is the hero, or such and such happens to this character... shhut up and let me read/ watch it pissed me off when someone decided it would be a good idea to talk about harry potter book 7 when I'd not even read it I've read it now, but the point being.. I know the ending even before I got to the end. |

people who clearly don't do, or enjoy, their job- and you can clearly notice it
yet in sted of trying to act professional for the customer, they act like they've spent the last few hours staring at a dry wall or people in jobs who don't know what they are doing, or don't want to help out. you just wonder.. well why work their if you're not going to be a part of it |

Can we really accuse people of faking situations and illnesses? I am sure we have all encountered people who have no clue or attempt to understand our mental illnesses and that we are 'faking it' ourselves. I have been accused multiple times of faking depression or anxiety so as to take a day off work. So I find this all a little bit like the case of the pot calling the kettle black.

What irks me? People who don't follow the speed limit; whether it is someone slowing down traffic by going 50 in an 80 zone or flying past at 125 in a 110 zone.

What else bothers me is when someone lies to me about what they did when I have been monitoring everything because tgey had refused to communicate in the first place. Beyond irritsting because they don't want to look as incompetent as they actually are. Then they REALLY believe their own lies.

Why does a furniture store, that only sells furniture, not have any kind of slip covers? I’m getting a new $300 chair. I have had one other new piece of furniture. And it was a giant bean bag chair. The rest of my furniture was stuff we already had, or were thrift store finds. This new chair is a light color and the fabric feels like a blanket. I eat most of my meals and snacks in this room. It’s ok to spill on a $15 thrift store recliner, but not a brand new $300 chair. I don’t want to put a sheet on it. I feel like that will just make the room look sloppy. I know the easiest solution would be to just not make a mess. Or not eat on the chair at all. But I do want a slipcover. I’ve been looking online. Maybe I should just go to Walmart and Target and look.

I don’t understand why I do what I do, either. I can’t help but do what I do. You’re absolutely right; if we expect compassion from others we need show compassion to pots and kettles.

things like when someone asks for a bottle to be poured in to a glass, and the first question is: should I open one first? well, unless you can find a way to pour it while the bottle is closed... |

My husband being a b**** to me because he injured his foot. In other words: People who don't feel well being s*******s to their caregivers. I mean, what's up with that? If I don't feel well, I'm still kind to the people who are around me. But then again, I could break my leg and no one I know would do so much as get me a glass of water, so. Maybe if I was demanding and grouchy they'd wait on me in the hope of keeping me quiet.

Faking illness could be a mental illness all in itself. Could be a symptom of OCD (I actually know someone with health OCD strongly believing she has various diseases) etc some people have delusions and believe they are sick etc.
I don’t think we should accuse people of faking illnesses as we don’t know what’s going on with the person. Not right |

People that are unwilling to understand mental illness. Yet they come on board to help make changes in policy and regulation of how a organization runs. It irks me we allow people that have no understand what it feel like to have a mental illness to sit on a board of a organization. One of my ex- friend is on a counseling board and wants to make changes just so it suits her and others, she could care less about those that use to organization.
