What incomprehensibly ‘irks’ you?

Flonase nasal spray. I hate the feeling. It causes so much anxiety. I hold it in my hands for 5 minutes because I actually procrastinate using it. I know I’m being dramatic, but my fear is so bad I’d rather do other anxiety provoking things like go to the grocery stores on a Saturday afternoon.

People who don't use their turn signals

I will forever be royally irked by the many parents who haven't bothered to hold their children to expectations of good behaviour. Accountability in today's younger adults is lacking and even worse as youth get younger to the point children today are for the most part out of control. It comes with a wish to be a friend instead of a parent and the fear to say 'No' to one's children from the earliest of ages. All this suceeds in is a me-me mentality and sense of entitlement.

Take for example the behaviour of children in restaurants. It is disgusting. Teaching them manners from the outset isn't hard to do yet a good many parents lack the will to do so and are afraid in this example to be stern with their children, expect good behaviour, and hold them accountable accordingly.

Take cell phones as another. So many young people have the expectation they are somehow owed one without the responsibilities attached - like paying for the bills in the first place themselves. Before you know it parents are paying for other things their children ought to be responsible for - like adults expecting cars and credit cards, etc.

People putting time limits on recovery time. Everyone is different and we all recover in our own time. No one should be told they should recover from depression in six months.

When people tell you “I have good news, and I have bad news” and the bad news is terrible and the good news isn’t even news so you wonder why they even bothered with the whole good/bad news crap in the first place.

People that always feel entiteled to winning everything even online face book games.

I'm just the kind of person who gets snubbed. Just little things that keep popping up, reminding me that I'm invisible to the world.

Yesterday was the anniversary of the final Peanuts strip, and also the day Charles Schulz died. So on a fan page, a woman said she hadn't seen the final strip. I posted a link to it. Fifteen minutes later, someone else posts the same link.

Original poster comes back on and thanks HIM. No mention at all that I had done it fifteen minutes earlier. WTF?

The icy roads are horrible all over and there is no sand or gravel to help right now it's too cold. Hopefully with it warming up the sand or gravel will be put down. Right now it's deadly to walk across the street.

I thought the Scary Stories To Tell in The Dark movie was supposed to be a documentary. I guess now it’s supposed to be an actual horror movie where these kids find the book and the stories in the book come to life.

I’m kind of irked/disappointed. I was looking forward to a documentary. I can’t handle scary movies. I’m not sure I’ll be able to see this movie.

people that complain about something that others do that annoy them, and then do exactly the same thing themselves.

I don't get it.

When you go to a doctor's office and see signs that say "no fragrances." When you made the appointment, the person didn't tell you about this "rule." So, you put on your usual cologne, etc.

I am irked that people are playing favorites. I am one of the favorites in this situation, but I just remember a time when I wasn’t and how angry it made me. I feel bad for the others who are not being treated fairly. I just wish things were fair.

It really irks me that the roads are not being maintianed today, with the warmer temps you would think they would plow the snow that fell last night and put some sand or gravel down. It is a disaster out there. Everyone who can is keeping the sidewalks in good shape. This city is doing very poor for keeping the roads in good condition

People that try to hit on you at work and act all weird and creepy about it and to you. I may look like a guy, but I’m not. It’s just how I prefer to dress. I have two women doing it right now. One of them said to me the other day “do you have a girlfriend/boyfriend? because your so pretty.”

Road trip yesterday and it was awful. The previous day's snow storm had the highway down to a single lane with the passing lane dangerously packed with ice and deep snow. I got caught in a train of traffic behind a slow moving transport truck with near everyone too scared to pass - except two idiots in massive pick-ups intent on endangering all our lives. How dare they. They both risked everyone else's lives by dangerously taking it upon themselves to ignore the conditions to pass. What if they had spun out? They could have caused a major multi-vehicle accident. As it was, they kicked up blinding snow making my heart skip several beats as I clung to the steering wheel hoping and praying to a god I don't believe in that the road continued straight ahead with out the car in front of me breaking. Yeah, I was pretty darned irked.

People who keep bugging you when you are trying to focus on the menu at a restaurant. I was with my mom today at Applebees and she was constantly saying and asking me “did you look at the 2 for 20?” “What is that?” Every time you open the menu you make me want to change my mind too.”

When you take a picture and post it on Facebook and then the next day a chameleon posts a picture wearing the same shirt as you.

People that like to litter

What really irks me is when I get on a bus and I see a passenger on the outside seat and the seat beside her or him is empty. I feel he or she is hogging the seats. TBC referring to the seats that go from front to back of the bus. The exception is if there is a good size package on the other seat. IOW a valid reason not to sit on the inside seating. This applies to seats that face forward as opposed to the first few seats that are facing across from each other.

I went to a store I interviewed at but didn’t get the job at, and I was dressed kind of sloppy because I was tired and I wasn’t working today. and the lady I had interviewed with was giving me a judging/dirty look. She was staring at me off and on. She should just get a life. I have a much better job then that one.

The cost of Fiji water. I know it’s from Fiji and untouched by man. But I spent $2 for a liter when a 24 count Nestle case costs about $2.50. Is craving water even a good thing?

When I’m calmly sitting at the stop sign and the person behind me honks because I don’t turn right soon enough for them. Boy did I have a few choice words to say about them, don’t even get me started. Grrrrr...

When people are overprotective of you. Especially in inappropriate situations.
