Yes, I liked the original when it came out.
Liked it long before it became that thing of infamy... *shudders* the 'rickroll'.
I still like it.

Ah! So now we know... yer a conductor!

I'll currently offer no resistance to that observation.
But tomorrow, things may be flowing the other way. Or not.

Oh well, time to go ohm. I'll get me cap...

Girls Just Want To Have Fun, by Cindi Lauper. It doesn’t really fit my tomboy personality.

Anything by ABBA but especially Dancing Queen. Also the Macarena, and Landslides by Fleetwood Mac.

I’m embarrassed talking about music to my coworkers because I don’t listen to current music. I tried listening to it one time and then I turned back to the 60’s and 70’s channel. I’m currently listening to 70’s and 90’s music.

My coworker thought it was funny that I didn’t know what being “caked” was.

"my boomerang won't come back"

also a track I have called flamingo oasis

not embarrassed about liking it, embarrassed because it was given to me on cd- and the track comes from a hotel in europe (like the club dance they do)

I just make up some random singer if they ask me who sings it

Everything by ABBA. I can’t say I am embarrassed. I have ABBA playing in my head a lot at random moments.

Another song that I really like but that I’m embarrassed to like is Will You Be There by Michael Jackson. We have a video of me watching the music video when I was 2 or 3 years old.

Straight up by Paula Abdul. It's so out of character for me to like a song like that.

Another huge ABBA fan here - I have all their albums on CDs. My favourite song of theirs is Fernando.

“The fighting men of the Green Berets?”

“Earth angel, can you hear me? Earth angel, can you see me?”

Those songs?

There's plenty of folks still alive but many have probably lost their voices from their prime. A lot of those Philly soul singers are still around - Darryl Hall, Russell Thompkins, Eddie Levert - and then there are the mainstream rockers like Steven Tyler and Springsteen. Let's not forget Steve Luthaker, a very under rated singer.

Yeah, but we were talking R&B/soul/gospel. The latter is a ‘must have’ for any great voice (oh, man, there’s not enough time in a Sunday to play all of Aretha’s gospel!).

I appreciate gospel — great gospel — in spite of my atheist beliefs!

Thought of another: It Was an Absolutely Finger Lickin', Grits and Chicken, Country Music Love Song by Bomshel

I think the name says it all as to why I'm embarrassed to like it

Oh, lord, my bad!

I was thinking of Teen Angel! Girl dies in automobile fatality (train collision?) but BF’s high-school ring is clutched in her cold, dead hand and only Charlton Heston could pry it loose.

Something like that...

Sigh.

For me it was a choice between a legal career or a career in porn.

Hee! I actually know so little about porn! I’ve learned more from watching The Deuce on HBO than I learned from Boogie Nights.

Never heard that one, they had so many angel songs back then, must be cause parochial schools were more popular back then.
