Oops.....that was "Pronto" not "prego" when answering the phone in Italy. Well, I remembered the 1st 2 letters & last one correctly on first thought. Not too bad for so many years

She shed.

I do not want to go outside to a shed to sit and read and do other stuff. Mainly because I’m scared of the dark. And are those things even heated or AC?

I have a downstairs second family room that is my personal space. I just call it my lair. I got the idea from the show The Thundermans.

Kinda random but I hate when people say they will "keep their eyes peeled" to say they will watch out for something.

Maybe it's just me, but I cannot stand it when people respond with, "Uh-huh." It is so lazy, and really sends the message they're barely listening. It feels patronizing.

I also have lost patience with the ultra-lazy-brained California-speak words that have wormed their way into North American parlance, such as "You know", "like","really", and Oh my gawwwd", (or "OMG!" being spoken), or everything being "soooo" this, or "sooooo" that. I know I'm even guilty of doing it, but I work on reversing that trend, constantly. They are basically just taking space away from useful, actual communication.

And it has to be said, I deplore the "b" word to describe women---or any pejorative that's used as a back-handed slap. They're all so incredibly insulting, on every level, even if the listener is not the intended target. Sexist, elitist, demeaning, insulting slams are ugly, period.

"You're sweet." I really dislike it when people say this to me. It makes me feel badly, and like my kind words weren't really appreciated, or like the person saying "you're sweet" thinks I'm too nice, or just thinks I'm stupid, which I'm not.

I hate sentences that start with:

"Why do you...?"

"You're so..."

"When are you going to...?"

It sounds like an attack on my person. It's condescending. Maybe because it's always uttered by the same toxic people.

I also loathe the words "lazy", "geek", "freak", "ugly", and "slow".

I also dislike it when someone says "I call it like I see it," especially if they're wrong or hypocritical.

"I'm the President and you're not" as spoken by Trump--in fact, most any words he says. sigh.

"Don't get your undies in a bundle."

"geezer," "old fart," or other negative ways of talking about an older person

"Issues" for the cards on github ---
  • i really wanna say "there all issues of course, because it's this workplace!"

Stupid __fill in the blank with any being..

"You Just need to" in sentence context towards me or others ...
    • I can face struggles with interacting with others that do this
    • . sometimes being just as cruel in a subtle way ... like giving info and saying back "you just need to, as you were saying, blah blah"
