Does anyone remember that? Today is the 60th anniversary of a fire in a school In Chicago that killed 92 kids and 3 nuns. My mom lived in Chicago at the time. She was 6. She was telling me about it today. She told me how when my mom got home from school my grandma made my mom and my aunts and uncles get down on their knees and pray for all the kids. It was really haunting hearing my mom tell me about it.

My mom also told me that the reason we do fire drills and other things in school today is because of that fire.
