What would it be?

I'd have fang dental implants done so I can bite people and drink their blood like a vampire lololol. The most realistic thing would be to have my breasts removed.

It's hard to pick only one.

But if I had to pick only one, it would be one that I couldn't fix on my own.

I plan to get braces. I never had straight teeth, and I'm missing the two teeth that go next to your top front teeth (but I have the next two instead sitting next to my two front teeth). My parents could never afford braces, and for the longest time, I've been disabled and/or the working poor, so I've not been able to afford braces either. I will be able to afford braces in the future, but I was told by many consultations that I should have two teeth pulled on the bottom to remove the crowding, and then move the one tooth up and over to straighten them, and then to later file down the teeth next to my front teeth, so they look like the teeth that would normally go there.

I’d like to get some more work on my chest done. On the left side mainly. I was going to ask my endocrinologist for a referral to the plastic surgeon they use to see if he can do anything or if I’m just going crazy and things look fine. My chest basically looks like a guys I think it’s just my paranoia and the scars. When I lift up my shirt I feel a wave of happiness and relief. It’s only when I don’t look at them that I feel weird and paranoid about them. My mom calls this phantom limb syndrome.

Yeah I just looked now. Completely gone and flat except for the scars. Symmetrical too. I’m just being paranoid I believe.

I didn't have my breasts completely removed, but I had them reduced. They were huge and disproportionate to my tiny frame. I got about 2 lb. removed from each one. They're still pretty big (34 DD) but at least that's a size of bra you can get in most stores. Before I was more like a 30 J (tiny frame, huge boobs) and couldn't really find that size. The bras in the plus size stores are for women who are big all over. I was hoping it would relieve the stress on my neck and upper back, but unfortunately it did not. However, I do think I look more proportionate now.

I was a 36 H. Small in shirts though. I was basically nothing but breasts. I wore a minimizer bra until I learned about binders. I wanted them gone since I first got them when I was 10. I had a total meltdown when my mom made me buy my first bra when I was that age. I only agreed to wear it because it had a star in the middle. It was the only one I wore though 7th grade and I wore men’s XL shirts for most of my teenage years to hide them.

I was a late bloomer so I was flat as a board until I was 15. Then they suddenly appeared and I went from a training bra to a C cup over the summer.

I have decided if I get breast cancer and need them removed, I'm not wasting time and money on reconstruction. I will just be flat.

I had that same thought when I was like 11 or 12 and saw a commercial for a cancer treatment center. I thought “if I ever got breast cancer I would not get reconstructive surgery” and I felt like almost guilty like I wanted breast cancer or something to get rid of them even though I don’t think that’s quite what I was thinking.

Can I say that I'd like to start my life over again and make better choices? Is that an option? Lol. No, I guess that's not what you meant by "reconstruction".

Hmmm....I guess I would like to have teeth implants. I have dentures now, and I hate them. They feel like something abnormal in my mouth!

Right now, no. However, I do notice my neck skin is not as firm as in my youth. Maybe someday a neck lift? Many in my family developed "turkey neck" to varying degrees in old age. I'm definitely not close to that, but I try to moisturize it twice daily.

The only wrinkle I have (I'm 50) is the oft seen deep vertical one between my eyebrows. I wear bangs to hide it. If I didn't have it, my hairstyle options would be greater. That wrinkle was even faintly visible in my late 20s.

I had a friend with that wrinkle who got an injection to get rid of it. I don't think it was Botox but something like that.

I rarely wrinkle my forehead but am starting to get laugh lines.

I won’t ever have it done, but I must admit for the first time in my life a breast augmentation seems appealing. I have small breasts to begin with, and COVID related weight loss has shrunk them. I’m kind of embarrassed by them to be honest

You are welcome to mine! LOL

I do have a friend who had hers augmented. They do look really good, but she said it hurt worse than childbirth getting them in. She has a tiny frame so needed chest expanders to make room.

Also I hear they feel a lot harder than real breasts, so they are only good to look at, not to touch.

I have that very deep wrinkle between my brows and on my forehead. I've had that since my 20s, too. I wish I didn't have that, but it's a lot more normal than all the acne scars I've had since I was 7 years old. I just gave up on all that.

My body is a hot mess, too. I have many stretch marks, sagging boobs (still a B cup, but I get distended to the point where there are no bras in my size now), the kangaroo pouch that now sags, and so many more unflattering things. My buttocks are deformed (I think there are sets of three now, ). If I could do a massive overhaul on my body, I would. Or better yet, if a vampire bite would cure me of everything, I'd take it.

I'm only 47.

Honestly I wouldn't. Its not that I think I look perfect (I definitely don't). But plastic surgery's never been appealing to me.

I'd have liposuction. Have wanted it since it came out. Suck out some fat cells especially on my stomach or arms. Give me back my hourglass figure.

because of my BDD, I couldn't really choose one

I'd have to have everything, but I'd still be unhappy with my looks, so..

I'd have a tummy tuck. Not just for cosmetic reasons. I lost a lot of weight and the remaining flab won't go away and is really uncomfortable. I sometimes get rashes around the area.

I had gastric bypass in 2007 and am experiencing the same issues. I was under young still when I had it and mostly I’ve bounced back. I was over 300lbs. I lost 127 lbs and (I say proudly and not to brag) but I’ve kept the weight off for 14 years. I have had two plastic surgery consults. One when I was roughly a year or so out from my surgery. At that point we had decent insurance through my husbands union and the insurance company said I had to keep my weight stable for a year before it would be considered. My husband left the Union and took a job at an Ivy League university and we pay for the best ppo they offer. I had a consult about a year ago and the doc is nice and very accomplished. Some insurance companies will cover a panulectomy (sp) which is basically slicing off the largest portion of problem skin and just sewing it together. No sculpting or anything. He told me that is usually reserved for severely obese people who literally have issues walking etc. However his office didn’t technically check to see if anything was covered. So he told me his plan and he said “I’ve never had a patient get a pani covered and never had a patient get abdominalplasty covered. His fees? (17k!) But I know people have been successful getting this covered even when most people say it never happens. I need to look into it more.

I do have friends who had tummy tucks covered after gastric bypass. I think it is possible. Not sure what insurance hoops you have to jump through though.

If your friends are in the US and you don’t mind picking their brain I would be so so appreciative. Any tips I can get any inside info or experiences will be so helpful. If you don’t mind gathering that information if you have the time please message me if not no big deal.
