so ive noticed that there is this fad of sanitizing EVERYTHING. hand sanitizer, air sanitizer, surface sanitizer.....

sometimes i just want to smack people and say "you realize that modern humans have been around for about 200,000 years without hand sanitizer and weve survived?" Also, we have natural bacteria on our bodies that keep out bad bacteria. When you use hand sanitizer, it not only kills the bad bacteria but the good bacteria too. So if you use it a lot, you actually reduce your own defenses. Same thing goes with air sanitizers.

when did people get so nervous? I hate those commercials that show the viruses on phones saying "your loved one could be carrying up to a million viruses." yeah... we also have e. coli in our stomachs at all hours of the day. were supposed to. i just wish people would stop being so paranoid. not wiping down the cart at kroger's isnt going to kill you!

sorry... that was it.

p.s. i voted today for the first time! yay! (last election i was 17)

I'm right with you salukigirl! It is amusing though to know people who use the sanitizer and deliberately use something regularly that they would clean first. That and wondering how such people play by the 5-second rule with dropped food items on the floor and yet sanitize everything? I do tease a couple people that I don't mind eating food off their floors because they overdo it with cleaning things so I know it will be a cleaner floor than mine :-)

That's because you're probably short so it's a quicker distance to the floor. We're older, slower, fat people so it takes us 5 seconds (unless someone else gets there first).

Bishop: Psychosomatic auditory hallucinations. Most people have to pay for such a thing.

Monty: So far I've made 15% of jack %#@&#!.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dean: Excuse me, sir. You forgot your change.
Redneck: No, that's for you, that's your tip.
Dean: Oh, no, no, no, I insist. You take it. You obviously need this more than I do.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monty: Okay, Mitch, you see what Dean just did there? Don't ever do that.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monty: Take whatever advice that she gives you with a big grain of salt.
Serena: Yeah and take anything that he gives you with a shot of penicillin.
