Do you think Orbs are spirits??

You can get optical devices that photograph infrared (beyond the visible spectrum) and so on.

They take something not visible to the human eye and represent it in a form where it is visible to the human eye.

You can fool around with your eyes and make 'em go cross eyed and fuzzy (for example) while taking a photo that is a crispy clear representation.

I'm short sighted (I see fuzzily) but the photographs I take a crispy clear.

There isn't THAT MUCH mystery in the idea that what we see with our eyes and what cameras detect can come apart.

But cameras representations are caused by (physical) phenomena. Cameras register light or whatever. If an orb is a light then an orb is a physical phenomenon...

Here's that pic I told you scared me. It's not orbs, but something straaaange was happening.

that is a cool pic September .. i took some pics awhile back in an area by the house, old timey feeling cause its less developed than the surrounding area..

i was playing with a used pentax .. 35mm.... caught some photo effect images...it was cool to look at the light in the tress.... they rainbowed really nice

but, not making a statement for or against...

i found this photo on the net..... its light defracted in water... the image search brought up some neat pics

Just the other day i thought i had a ghost in my house stealing things from me. Then i found Bayou with my shoes, teddy bear, notebook, cd, the list goes on. And he had that all in his little carrier. Growled at me when i tried to move him out the way. My dog is a pack rat. Uugghhh.

Have you heard of that one prison in PA?...I've seen so much creepy stuff about that prison. Hold on..looking for link.

It's Eastern State Penitentiary, if you look at the history it was one of the worse prisons. It basically was made to isolate prisoners in a very small cell for years on end with absolutly no socializing. A lot of men died there from sicknesses too...so much that it was odd.

When I lived in Nebraska the house we lived in was haunted. Both my mom and I saw the woman ghost. She would stand by our fireplace. There also was a phantom cat. He would run through the house and I'd go see why our cat was running and he would be asleep in another room.

Eastern State Pen. is here in Philly. I have been there before... you can take audio guided tours and see how the prisioners lived, including Al Capone, whose cell is probably decorated better than most homes. I loved going on the tour... so interesting. There is even one part where they do an audio simulation of what it sounded like to have really been there when it was filled with prisoners. You get to go down to where the prisoners were kept who were waiting on death row, stand in the cells to see what it would be like in solitary confinement, hear the stories on the audio tour of some of the ex-prisoners who were housed there. There is also an original display of the various weapons that prisoners were able to construct over the years.

However, I do not believe in spirits or ghosts or haunted houses or anything like that. The place, of course, had a general "feeling" but that was more because of the emotion and imagery that it evoked for me. It is not haunted.

I would love to go on that tour...very interesting.

Next time I hard up to PA I might have to talk hubby into going with me.

I don't. I think there is a scientific explanation such as light reflecting on dust. I would prefer it were spirits. I have gone on EVP hunts at a graveyard to try and communicate with spirirts. No luck. I hope I find someting supernatural because I hate this world.
