This is just a random sort of question for anybdoy who might know anything about network connections and video game systems...
First a little bit of information: I can surf the net on the internet browser built into my psp but i cannot connect to the wifi server to play multiplayer games when my wireless security authentication is set to WEP-Shared, but i can play multiplayer games using my nintendo DS during this time. If i want to play multiplayer games with my psp i have to chnage the authentication to WEP-Open. The only problem with this is that i can no longer play multiplayer games with my Nintendo DS.
And now the question: Anybody have any ideas of why this might be occuring?

yeah i guess i have to get around to that eventually too. altho i dont really have much interest in homebrew. Just in the free official full version game downloads. Altho i liked Final Fantasy 7 so much that i went out and bought it after getting halfway through the one i downloaded.

I tried posting my question on an online psp/nds forum but i kinda forgot which forum it was and forgot my password to it so am unable to check the responses. lol its safe to say i completely forgot i even posted there until i read your post.

If your router has an mac address filtering option, try getting the mac address of your all your stuff connected to your router(if you need a tutorial pm me), and the mac address of your psp and ds. Add it to your router's allow list and set it to have no password to connect to your network. Try connecting now Network connections
