Normaly I despise reality shows. They are one of the many cancers of our media. Though I do enjoy this particular show on rare occations. Its interesting to see the creativity involved in the construction of these houses.

I have watched it a few times ,and i love it but i have to say it makes me cry with gladness, strange, i love how he helps all those people. and each time i think "don't cry this time " i become overwhelmed by it all.So sorry can only watch it in desired circumstances. But i do like reality shows .

I love extreme home makeover. I have actually seen them build a house and I have to say I was so moved by the generosity of it. I think there are many that deserve the help and am in awe of it.

Extreme home makeover is the only reality show that I can stomach, they do some really great things for people. I also wanted to mention that Ty Pennington is totally hot. reality shows your views

I really don't like most reality shows. I think, in general, they place so much emphasis on how to change a person's looks instead of making them feel better about the body they have. I like 10 years younger because they usually take people with such a hectic lifestyle or who have been through some crap and show them how to have confidence.

But shows like The Swan.... don't even get me started. Liposuction, Dermabrasion and whatever else they do to these poor women. It seems like theyre telling us "you can't feel good about yourself unless you lose some weight and get your teeth fixed" which isn't what Im all about.

I have only seen extreme makeover once or twice and the home edition is cool because the people they give new houses to really need it bad.

In terms of shows like the Real World.... those people are just funny to watch.

I guess my biggest problem with reality shows is that most of them totally exploit the people they "help". They dont necessarily look for people who really need help, they look for drama queens and whoever is going to get ratings. So it seems like a shallow victory to me.
