Did you know that credit card issuers are now tracking where you use your credit card and are deciding your credit worthiness depending on where you use your card...and it doesn't matter one little bit if your payments are on time every month or not. Good Grief.....nothing is private anymore............................

Credit Rating/Worthiness

Maybe it's time we all went back to using cash only. I'm tired of having my life tracked by these companies who don't live my life and have no right to know how and where I spend my money. Big Jerks! Sure. This is the credit card company that is checking where you are using your credit card, to determine their risk of whether to offer you higher credit line, better or worse rate etc. They've been tracking us for years, though. I'm unsure of what has changed. Stores keep track of every item you buy. When you return an item to a store like Target, you really don't have to have your receipt if you can give them the credit card you used, they can pull the item up! Now THAT'S scary!

This isn't about the big 3 credit bureaus, it's about credit card companies. If you have your credit bureaus locked down on your credit, then no one "new" can just peruse your information anyway, only those who you already deal with.

Even when you use cash your purchases are tracked if you use one of those club cards, and nearly all grocery stores have them now and many department stores.

Yes I think so... plus it's been used for years that you receive ads according to what you purchase... but right now I can't recall if that's mailers only or if it also means like on the net for online purchases etc... sorry it's nearly midnight.

But yeah, it's not so nice eh? What worries me more is them having access to my stuff for the medical credit rating. I know this was already discussed here, with many people thinking it was medical stuff only and not regular credit. First insurance co's now Credit Card issuing Co's....grrrrrr

Big Brother is world wide now.
