changing already! my poplar trees are turning a pretty yellow and an unknown tree is turning red! dang it is too early. I suppose it has to do with the drought we are still in. we were so hoping we would get alot of rain off the tropical storm but it kind of bypassed us. we are getting a little rain off the last of the outter bands of it but not nearly enough. in the next 24 hrs though they said we could get up to 3 to 5 inches but I highly dought it. anyway fall is in the air here.

Still August, but today driving home from work, I DID see leaves falling in the breeze! What's with that??
Autumn is my favorite time of year, but it seems too early for this!

I know - I heard from one of the girls I work with that the mail guy said he drove his daughter up to college this weekend - 2 hrs away- and the leaves were starting to change. It's too freaking early for fall. I don't feel like we've had any summer what with the near constant rain we've had.

Heck my tomatoes haven't even rippenned yet.

Can't believe that it's almost labour day.

NOOOO its too early! no ones leaves should be changing. Where I live winters are long, and fall means winter is soon on us again. I love the pretty colors of fall but hate what it means. Hopefully with some more rain the leaves will stay and keep my spirits up.

Did notice the leaves are falling. It feels like the Fall season here (TN), it has even been quite cooler some days. I even bought some seasonal placemats. I was even going to start decorating with the mum flowers and all. I know it is too early but it sure feels like it 's very close. I knew something was up.

Heeyah in New Hampshah we almost always see leaves starting to turn late in August and this year is no exception. There are a few trees that go early....mostly the poplars......then the rest start by mid September. But geesh...down south to start this early?? YIKES.....it has to be because of the drought....and I'll bet they won't be as vibrant in color as they normally may be leaves are Too little or too much rain can mess up the colors.
