Yesterday... a most amazing sight that I wanted to share with my friends..

I have a maple tree next to my house.. that still had all of it's leaves..

So yesterday I glanced out the window... and saw leaves gently floating down... it was a beautiful sight.. the conditions were just right.. and within a 1/2 hour.. all leaves had floated down..

It was beautiful... to see all those leaves fill the air...

awesome...

That sounds very beautiful and very peaceful. Thank you for sharing that with a former Northerner who really really misses beautiful Fall weather!

Oh, yes, I miss the trees! We moved from a heavily wooded lot to a little townhouse on the water so not many trees. We went camping a couple weekends ago specifically to see the leaves. That would be awesome though to be able to concentrate on one tree and watch it losing its leaves.

Amazing!! I didn't know it was normal for a tree to loose all it's leaves so quickly!! But then, I've never lived in northern climes.

yes... I have always lived "north".. this is the first time in my lifetime.. that I have seen this... it was amazing... usually they just come down a little at a time..

it must have been the right combo.. of frost, followed by warmth.. that "broke" the leaf stem hold..

and I just happened to be there... looking at the right time..

amazing... mini mircles.. I call them..

I love autumn....my favorite time of year! I have been enjoying seeing all the colors, which is late for here in WV! I see the leaves blowing off the trees as I drive home each day, and also in my neighborhood.
