i am still really numb
but my irritable bowel syndrome has flared up which shows how much stress and emotional stuff i have going on
my emotions find it hard to feel so my body does it for me

Hi,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. grief will happen at it's own pace. It could be you're protecting yourself right now or you're still numb. But it will happen and when it does, don't fight it - you need to go through it in your own way. My thoughts are with you.
