I put my service dog of 15 years to sleep tonight. I am beside myself in grief...and second guessing myself.
 Please help.

That is so hard and so painful to do! I'm so sorry for your loss and grief. I am sad with you. You did the compassionate thing. You cared for him, as he cared for you. I don't think I've ever done that without the second guessing afterward. I hope that soon the happy memories of your beloved pup will replace the pain and torment in your heart. ECHOES |

(((((((Sky))))))) I am so sorry that you had to lose something so close to you, just like a family member...What a heart you have to release something you love and cherish so much from affliction, from a life of pain...I am praying with my whole heart that you will receive another dog that will be a constant companion by your side for an abundant amount of years...that the safety, trust, and companionship shall be restored unto you...when I lie my head down to sleep this night, I will be thinking and praying for you...

Oh Sky,
Hon, I'm so sorry. Please don't second guess yourself. I know that is the one thing I did when we had to put our dog of thirteen years down and it just made it harder on me. You did the right thing. Trust your judgement. You know in your heart that your dog is in a better place now. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope things will get better for you soon. Thinking of you, Linda
