On June 21 I will experiance once again the birth/death date of my oldest daughter. She would have been 18. Would have graduated (with any luck) high school this last May. Every year I think it will be better next year, or not as bad in August when my youngest child was born and died also.It is just so terribly hard

Oh dear, what a heartbreak, I wish I had some words of comfort for you, sadly I do not know what to say.
Losing a child is a parents biggest nightmare, I don't know if I'd be able to carry on if I lost my one and only child.
Please know we are here for you.

I have lost 3 children. I have no worrd of encouragement except that you are letting your children live on through the good memories that you create for them. I also think all the time about it. I had to have an abortion (i nearly died) and I am constantly plagued with feeling of guilt thinking that it was the first female president or the first person to cure aids. I just offer you my hugs and my condolences.

I lost a granddaughter and know kind of how you feel. Savannah would be 9 now and every year we go thru the birthday thing. It is the hardest thing I think anyone could possibly go thru. My prayers are with you.
