I miss my Uncle Frank. Well, I miss him on this side anyway.
The story goes when he was near his passing he basically gave the world a big FU in a fit of belligerence only I could manage to carry on for this particular familial line. I talk to him at times as my family has a "gift" for such things. I think of him everytime I put on my shoes. I have shoes that represent him. Some may have said he was an a-hole. I never saw it. He was downright awesome to me...in many ways. So here's to Uncle Frank and his shoes. |
