Hello all,

Six years ago, I lost several close relatives. My friend sent me a book , THE HAWK AND THE DOVE, which I just finished last night!

It's about a group of monks in a previous century and has a lot to say about friendship, love, life and death.

I recommend it highly!

It says A LOT about friendship. Brother Tom and Fr. Peregrine/Columba became friends =Br. Tom would help him when he was the abbot of the monastery and later after Fr. Peregrine has a stroke and when he dies.

It covers these 2 men's early lives as well as some others.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT-I'm going to read it again since I'm going through grief now. Book recommendation
