I found a new book at the bookstore today called Drunk, Divorced & Covered in Cat Hair by Laurie Perry. It seems like a funny true account of this 30-somethings experience of going through divorce. I've read the first couple of chapters and its good, lighthearted and funny.
Let me know if anyone else reads it and what you think. amazon link She has a website too, but I haven't had time to check that out yet. |

I am reading it now, Lemon, and really like it. I have found a lot to relate to, even though the author had a much shorter marriage than mine and no children. One thing it shows is how long it takes to go through the divorce process and recover from it. This author shows the baby steps she takes to recovering. it takes a long time and is not easy! I am much appreciating her humor. She also makes me feel like what I am going through is not so strange but perhaps even typical when you get a divorce.
