its times like these that i miss my dad, when things need fixing or i needed help with something as he was nick named mr fixit as i grew up, ppl would pay him to fix things, he never saw my children grow he never even met the youngest two, and son is going to be very hands on sort of person dad would of been good to have around to guide son, why do bad things allways keep happening to the same ppl over and over again

hon I am so sorry you are missing your dad. I don't know how I would do with my dad being gone. I lost my mom 15 yrs ago and even though she was my abuser I do at times miss her.

Kathy, I know what it's like to miss a parent. It hurts so deep and nothing anyone says can take that away, but know that I'm are here for ya if you need it.

i lost my mum when i was very small so i dont miss her as much as i dont remember so much, but dad strugled to give us the best he could with only help from his sisters, being the only female in a male household was hard and there is abuse from male relations,

 That part about bad things and the repeats again and again ,,, I too ,, ask that question !!!! ? .Maybe I should just come to the conclusion ,, that ... If enough happens ,, and I am still standing , after the smoke clears ,,,,,,, The Depth of MY Compassion will just continue to run a little deeper in its' course. BTW ,, I have a few Books on general home repair ,, that are kinda like the tips and tricks to Fix - it things . Maybe you could see if you can find something like that for son with the hands on gift.

hes going to go to collage in sept and learn mecahnics, which will be a great start as he will be able to mend my car and there is allways work for a good mechanic
dad could turn his hand to anything so maybe son will too thank you for replying to me

it is really hard to lose some one close to you especially family i know this from experience it sounds like your sun is heading on a good path and even though your dad is gone he is there in away looking over you and your kids sorry if thts a little touchy i guess i am trying to say is he is passing on his talents through your kids so you will have something to remember him by
