2 weeks ago we adopted 2 ginger male kittens - they were 4 weeks old. they had many names, garfield, gizmo, garfunkel, toya, saffron, garlic and yesterday we finally settled on gizmo and gadget. gizmo, a real little character and obviously the runt of the litter creeped very very deep into my heart. perhaps because he was not quiet as beautiful as his brother but i suppose because he had such spirit. unfortunately he was killed this afternoon. i am so sad, cannot stop crying, keep looking at the photographs i took and keep thinking what if i did this or that then he would still be here. i feel a bit broken inside. i have never lost a loved one but have lost many pets before. if this is how i react to losing a pet, how will i ever handle losing a loved one? he was so beautiful, i feel so sad for not having him with me anymore. i will miss him much.

Seeking, I am so very sorry.

We have had our kittens for about 3 months now and I've come to realize how they wind their way into your heart.

Hopefully in time the pain will subside. Sending you lots of hugs..........

My cat is more important to me more then most people in my life. Animals are people and best friends to so many. Your grief is very real. I am so sorry for your loss.
